Antes de la colonización de Corrientes, esto era tierra de diferentes comunidades de indígenas, nuestro pueblo comienza a tener forma con la llegada de los indios ¨guaraníes¨ de ellos heredamos nuestro segundo idioma el ¨guaraní¨. Nuestro principal idioma lo obtenemos con la colonización de los españoles hace 433 años. El español es nuestra lengua materna y es la manera en que nos comunicamos. Por la cercanía de otros países es común hablar en portugués con los hermanos brasileros que nos visitan, o en guaraní con los oriundos de ¨Paraguay¨

El clima predominante de ¨Corrientes¨ es el calor, la razón de las construcciones de los interiores con grandes galerías que permitieran fluir correntadas de aires frescos.
