Technology and architecture: The church of San Magno

After about ten years from its announcement, the Church of San Magno has been completed, a truly huge and very well structured modern work. The tower is the bell tower of the church, about 50 meters high and visible from most of the city, it looks like a large sail ready to tow its faithful towards safe waters.

The entrance consists of a beautiful avenue, in the middle of a well-kept lawn, and the church door seems almost hidden, probably indicating that the doors are open to all those who want to look for it. The Church, due to the height of her vault, seems much larger than it actually is. It is an important optical effect because it transmits the power and majesty of the structure, the house of God, to his faithful.

What is more beautiful than the new Church is the large amount of spaces and rooms dedicated to children, removing them from the street and entrusting them to suitable places where they can socialize and have fun, respecting the rules of society. There are still some outdoor spaces under construction, always dedicated to children's activities such as a small playground for the little ones and families, a football pitch and much more.

Also noteworthy is the source of baptism, a basin in which small children receive the sacrament immersed in blessed water. There is also a small side chapel dedicated to those who want to pray in private.
