Hello Hive!

We're here to announce the winners of our latest community contest - My Memorable Experience of a Hotel Design.

Hotel Design elicits emotional responses from guests, thus drawing inspiration from travelers' perspectives and perceptions into what matters to them the most. This knowledge translates to creating design opportunities, both tangible and intangible in order to enhance one's hotel experience. For the latest community contest, we delved into what made each of the participants' hotel experience memorable.

We are excited to announce the following winning entries:

@melbourneswestMarriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, Phuket, Thailand

"It's been just over 10 years since my partner and I stayed at the Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, Phuket, Thailand. Out of all my holiday destinations, this has been my favorite and most memorable holiday and stay in a Resort ever. The location, design, and layout of the resort was absolutely divine. I still remember walking into the resort which had a really large foyer leading to the main lagoon pool surrounded by restaurants and bars. Smack bang in the middle was a swim-up bar which would be where I ended up most days/nights."

@pradityaMemorable Experience of a Hotel Design- Into The Golden Tulip

"On one fine Monday morning, I got the chance to visit a luxurious 4-star hotel in Gurugram called Golden Tulips. We had a meeting with our clients who wanted their brand new penthouse's interior to be designed and we met for a breakfast meeting.

Being early gave me the time to look around and settle. The mini reception for the dining area entry was pretty cool. The walls being white bought a larger space to play with colours in furniture."

@sahiba-ranaA memorable Experience of The Taj Mahal Hotel.

"Buildings aren't just about technicality but the emotions too. We all must have experienced some or the other emotions connected to the structure or a built up place. It's the memorable experiences we cherish which are attached to the particular place.

I would take this opportunity and share an experience in a hotel I have been to. Actually two years ago my mum turned 50. In honour of her birthday our family went to a dinner at luxurious 5 star hotel called "Taj Palace" in Delhi."

Our heartfelt congratulations to the above winners!

We kindly thank everyone who had participated. We'd also like to extend our gratitude to new subscribers, active members, and participants for your continuous and valuable support to the A+D Community!
