Hi everyone,
i haven't been really active in making comments and liking of articles currently and this is because of how hectic this week has been.
Yesterday, i got an impromptu call from my boss saying we have to go to ondo state because we have a work which is going to take place on Saturday and i asked why are we going on Wednesday instead of Friday and he replied "we have to be there and make them know we are serious about the job".
So to cut the story short, I'm in ondo right now and this is the first time being here after over 7years. The place looks so much better than before and i enjoy every moment of it immediately we got there.
Though there are still some old structures around but they still looks beautiful. The first thing i did was to go around and get familiar with the place and also take pictures in order for me to write about this. To be honest, this place looks more calm and peaceful than the city.
They were all friendly, they all knew we are new in the town but i made sure i told them that i have been in ondo before but not just this part of ondo. Everything went well and i made friends with strangers because of how welcoming they were.
Beautiful people everywhere, i went to some market and it was basically the same thing with the one in lagos where we came from. Things looks much cheaper over here than lagos and I could bargain prices over here and they are honest with their prices and also polite.
To my surprise, i was given extra just the way i talk with them but i couldn't collect it because it was their source of livelihood and i did appreciate them though because it was the first time i was experiencing this Kind of attitude from market women.
I saw this bike and i had to take the picture because motorbikes has been banned in some part of lagos and my side is part of it. It's fun seeing it again and also riding as a passenger on it.
The breeze is wo fresh, no smoke around, all the street i went to even though they are not good road, they are all clean and i really love how they take care of their environment.
Walking beside forest is really fantastic, the wind coming from there is refreshing and I'm sure i will love to spend more than a week here. I just want to explore more in this state i am.
