I mentioned in one of my previous posts that one of the things I like the most about Antofagasta, where we currently live, is the urban transportation, with the exception of specific cases the transportation is very good, it flows very well and allows the population to move to where they need to go in a timely manner.
For this reason, today I want to emphasize that I am very happy because I am going to talk to you about the new fleet of buses in the city of Antofagasta.
Also, one of the most used routes in Antofagasta is the one covered by line 119, which runs through the city faster than the others; avoiding entering or turning in any particular sector, keeping most of its route on main avenues from the north end to the south end and back. To give you an idea of how long the city is, this same route takes approximately 45 minutes by private car and 90 minutes on line 119.
Since mid-November, 40 buses of the new E01 line began to circulate, a route very similar to the 119 route, with the particularity of being larger, air-conditioned, more comfortable and totally electric. Definitely a great improvement with respect to all the units of all the other lines present.
This new line will allow the demand of the other lines to decrease, allowing a better flow of transportation between the ends of the city and in general will allow the users of the public transportation service to move more freely and obviously without carbon dioxide emissions.
It should be noted that the E01 line will allow payments to be made in forms other than cash, for example payment by card, which means that the system is being modernized, although there is still a long way to go before this is significant. However, this system has already been widely used in Santiago and other cities in Chile for a long time.
I had the opportunity to go to the recharging station of the E01 line units located in the upper part of the northern sector. First time I see one in person and I am glad that this has come to Antofagasta and hopefully the population can accept and take care of the system so that they continue to modernize the process for all other routes.

Buenos días, buenas tardes y buenas noches queridos amigos de @dailyblog en Hive. Espero se encuentren muy bien.
He mencionado en una de mis publicaciones anteriores que una de las cosas que más me gusta de Antofagasta, dónde actualmente vivimos, es el transporte urbano, con excepción de puntuales casos el transporte es muy bueno, fluye muy bien y permite a la población trasladarse a dónde necesita de manera oportuna.
Por este motivo, hoy quiero destacar que me siento muy feliz porque les voy a hablar sobre la nueva flota de buses de la Ciudad de Antofagasta.
Asimismo, una de las rutas más usadas en Antofagasta es la que cubre la línea 119, que recorre la ciudad más rápido que las otras; evitando entrar o doblar en algun sector en particular, manteniendo la mayor parte de su recorrido en avenidas principales desde el extremo norte hasta el extremo sur y de regreso. Para que tengan una idea de lo larga que es la ciudad, en carro particular este mismo recorrido dura aproximadamente 45 minutos y en la línea 119 la duración es de 90 minutos.
Desde mediados de noviembre comenzaron a circular 40 buses de la nueva línea E01, una ruta muy parecida a la ruta de la 119, con la particularidad de ser buses más grandes, con aire acondicionado, más cómodos y totalmente eléctricos. Definitivamente una gran mejora con respecto a todas las unidades de todas las demás líneas presentes.
Está nueva línea permitirá que la demanda de las otras líneas disminuya, fluyendo mejor el transporte entre los extremos de la ciudad y en general permitirá que los usuarios del servicio de transporte público se muevan con mayor libertad y obviamente sin emisiones de dióxido de carbono.
Cabe destacar que la línea E01 permitirá realizar pagos en formas diferentes al efectivo, por ejemplo pago con tarjeta, lo que significa que se moderniza el sistema, aunque aún falta mucho para que esto sea significativo. Sin embargo, este sistema ya es ampliamente usado en Santiago y otras ciudades de Chile desde hace mucho tiempo.
Tuve la oportunidad de acercarme a la estación de recarga de las unidades de la línea E01 ubicada en la parte alta del sector norte. Primera vez que veo una en persona y me alegro de que esto haya llegado a Antofagasta y ojalá la población pueda aceptar y cuidar el sistema para que sigan modernizando el proceso para todas las otras rutas.
Ahora cuéntenme si en la ciudad donde estás hay de este tipo de transporte eléctrico, ¿Desearías que en dónde vives haya más movilidad eléctrica?
