Now that spring is becoming a little more present, every night has the right climate to go out for a walk: mild temperature and light breeze. I really enjoy night out (you may have seen several posts about this on my blog 😂) and maybe this will become more frequent as it gets warmer. Yesterday was nice so we decided to go for a night walk: kind of impromptu but we had fun anyway ❤️.
Ahora que la primavera se está haciendo un poco más presente cada noche tiene el clima adecuado para salir a pasear: temperatura templada y brisa ligera. Realmente disfruto las salidas de noche (pueden haber visto varios posts sobre esto en mi blog 😂) y quizás esto se vuelva más frecuente a medida que haga más calor. El día de ayer estuvo agradable por lo que decidimos ir por un paseo nocturno: algo improvisado pero nos divertimos de todos modos ❤️.
Last year my sister moved to an apartment near the center of the city of Buenos Aires. Since then, from time to time we can take the opportunity to make a night out at a bar there, since later we have a place nearby to go to sleep. This was impossible before since all the public transports that take us to my house end their services very early.
El año pasado mi hermana se mudó a un departamento cerca del centro de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Desde entonces, de vez en cuando podemos aprovechar para hacer una salida nocturna por algún bar de allí, ya que más tarde tenemos un lugar cerca para ir a dormir. Esto era imposible antes ya que todos los transportes públicos que nos llevan a mi casa terminan sus servicios muy temprano.
We had no idea where to go, so after doing some research around the Obelisk we found a small bar in the basement. There was a lot of party music playing and this was what attracted us in the first place, but when we went downstairs we saw that the atmosphere of the bar was also very pleasant.
No teníamos idea de a qué lugar ir, por lo que luego de investigar un poco los alrededores del Obelisco encontramos un pequeño bar en un subsuelo. Se oía mucha música de fiesta y esto fue lo que nos atrajo en primer lugar, pero cuando bajamos vimos que la ambientación del bar también era muy agradable.

We went with my sister and her girlfriend. My sister-in-law wanted a sweet drink, and that's what she asked for, while my sister and I settled for the classic draft beer.
Fuimos con mi hermana y su novia. Mi cuñada quería beber un trago dulce, y eso fue lo que pidió, mientras que mi hermana y yo nos quedamos con la clásica cerveza tirada.
The drink had a lot of alcohol content but you didn't realize that because it was so sweet and had so much grapefruit juice that it covered everything. But the collateral effects were not long in coming to light 😂.
El trago tenía bastante contenido de alcohol pero no te dabas cuenta de eso porque era tan dulce y tenía tanto jugo de pomelo que eso tapaba todo. Pero los efectos colaterales no tardaron en salir a la luz 😂.

For dinner, we ordered a large picada that included French fries, breaded cheese, fried chicken, and fried chicken. When we saw the menu we thought that this would not be enough so apart from that we ordered another tray of fries with cheddar 😂. Maybe at the time of ordering we did not think that it was so much food ...
Para comer pedimos una gran picada que incluía papas fritas, milanesas, queso rebozado y pollo frito. Cuando vimos la carta pensamos que esto no sería suficiente por lo que aparte de eso pedimos otra bandeja de papas fritas con cheddar 😂. Quizás en el momento de ordenar no nos pareció que era tanta comida...
But when it arrived we realized that it really was a lot of food 😂😂😂. Don't worry because we took everything that was left over to my sister's apartment and it was our lunch.
Pero cuando llegó tomamos dimensión de que realmente era un montón de comida 😂😂😂. No se preocupen porque todo lo que sobró lo llevamos al departamento de mi hermana y fue nuestro almuerzo.
In all this dinner we spent 4500 ARS (almost 25 USD). Perhaps a bit high price but for an outing that we had not done for a long time, it seemed appropriate. We could have saved a little, but every now and then we have to fulfill the whims 😂.
En toda esta cena gastamos 4500 ARS (casi 25 USD). Quizás un precio un poco elevado pero para ser una salida que hace mucho no hacíamos me pareció adecuado. Podríamos haber ahorrado un poco, pero cada tanto hay que cumplirse los caprichos 😂.
After the drinks and jokes, we went back to my sister's house by bus. This is the good thing about the city: there is transportation at all times. I was happy to share an evening with my sister and my sister-in-law, I had never gone out alone with them. I hope we can repeat soon, but knowing a different bar to see what else there is in the city night. It will be a matter of continuing to walk, spring nights are just beginning 🤭!
Después de las copas y chistes, volvimos a la casa de mi hermana en autobús. Esto es lo bueno de la ciudad: hay transporte a toda hora. Me sentí feliz de compartir una noche con mi hermana y mi cuñada, nunca había salido solo con ellas. Espero que pronto podamos repetir, pero conociendo un bar diferente para ver qué más hay en la noche de la ciudad. ¡Será cuestión de seguir paseando, las noches de primavera recién comienzan 🤭!
