Finding Your Own Peace? Here's What It Means

We need peace!!!
We need peace!!!

That is what we hear most times in life and in movies but we've never once heard of someone growing the peace within to have an effect on others.
We may all see peace as the absence of war or the presence of tranquility but taking a more deeper thought on what peace is, I came up with these definitions.

Peace Is Having Your Alone Time

People live with people, people interact everyday, people work everyday that most of them forget their own time. They forget to give themselves a break, a time to think things through. Your alone time allows you to cross check your goals if you're still on the right track. Your alone time keeps your mind calm from the stress of work. If you skip your alone time, you tend to get discouraged or too stressed out that you may cause trouble where you could have avoided it.

A lady who works for a strict boss finds it hard to rest at home, she works at the office and also at home. She didn't realize she was becoming like her boss in talking to people rudely because she never stops to think, she's always on the move having no alone time for herself - Having no peace of mind.

Peace Is Avoiding Arguments And Quarrel

You want to have peace? You want to be a peaceful person? Identify and avoid arguments. Yes, we know when an argument is about to come up but so many would still try to prove themselves right thereby causing trouble with it. You can choose to avoid those drama and be at peace with yourself and others.

A guy I know spends most of his time arguing with his friends about almost everything to the extent that his friends no longer wanted to hang out with him just so they could avoid arguments - He isn't a peaceful person. Know when to give up on a talk, you don't have to prove right when the other is also trying to prove right... It would only end up with an argument or a quarrel.

Peace Is Appreciating Life And It's Beauty

Have you ever tried looking up at the sky when you feel tired? Or stand by the sea to feel its cold breeze when you're feeling down? The kind of peace you get at that time is priceless, you feel so relaxed and find yourself smiling and making beautiful decisions about the next step to take. We can't avoid having troubled situations totally but we can always go back to appreciating the beauty of life and stay calm from doing so.

@mubeenalee said in his post titled Nature Is Reflection Of Life

Whenever, I go for walk or I make myself separate for a while, I just see the system of nature and feel it how it is working and all creation cannot go against nature. If anyone wants his/her life beautiful and spend peacefully, he/she will have to cooperate with nature

I want to believe that you got what I'm trying to explain from what he said in his post... Nature also help us to be peaceful.

Peace Is Good Health

This may sound kinda off from all I've been saying about peace but here is the thing... Our peace also rely on our health. For anyone who have been sick before, you would understand what it means to be peaceful when in good health. When you don't give your stomach the right meals, it gives you trouble that you may not contend with and when you feed your stomach well, you feel the peace from within.

Our health needs to be taken care of for us to have peace with ourselves before extending it to those around us. Eat well when you can, exercise your mind and body, dress comfortably and laugh as often as possible... You're growing your peace from within.

When we can achieve our own peace, we could share the peace in our own part of the world and make our nations better, avoiding fights and wars. Grow your peace daily and see how happiness overcome troubled moments, we are our own peace.
