Today we’ll be talking about SUPERFLUID, a decentralized finance protocol birthed to facilitate Programmable Cashflows and enable developers to build solutions fluidly.
MATIC NETWORK
Matic network is a blockchain solution that provides scalable, secure, and instant Ethereum transactions using Plasma side chains and a Proof-of-Stake network. Matic network has made an effort to resolve the issues of scalability and usability without making a compromise on decentralization.

SUPERFLUID
Superfluid is a new token standard, with the power to describe cashflows, and execute them automatically on-chain over time in a non-interactive way.
Superfluid flows are programmable, composable, and modular. Their first cashflow types allow constant streams of value and one-to-many distributions. All flows are settled at the same time, based on block timestamps. This makes it possible to net inflows and outflows, increasing capital efficiency.

On-chain interaction
Superfluid lives on Layer 1 Ethereum, allowing full composability and no delays when withdrawing.
Superfluid allows developers to build applications on top of the Protocol, and integrate with other DeFi primitives. They have deployed on Ethereum testnets (Goerli, Rinkeby and Ropsten), and firmly believe that developers should be able to integrate Superfluid with any other web3 protocol.
Superfluid will soon be deployed on the Matic network. Ethereum developers would be able to quickly deploy and experiment with Superfluid enabled Programmable Cashflow applications on Matic network due to its super cheap transaction fees and fast confirmations.
The CEOs of both Superfluid and Matic network network made positive comments concerning the partnership.
Francesco Renzi, CEO of Superfluid, mentioned how “The kind of permissionless and low-barrier experimentation enabled by cheap transactions is what made Ethereum the center of all innovation in DeFi and web3, and we are very excited to see this continue, both on Ethereum, and on EVM side-chains like Matic!”.
Sandeep Nailwal, CEO of Matic, also commented “Superfluid streams were the missing primitive to enable recurring transactions on the blockchain. We are very excited they have chosen to deploy on Matic, and look forward to seeing more companies adopt this technology for subscriptions and salaries”.
This is a plus to both projects as collaborations like this are for the advancement and evolution of blockchain technology.
