Hey Buddy! Do you always follow my posts? If yes, then you will have a clue and an idea about this new development project. I have a big pen that I have been using for both brooding birds and rearing birds till they reach sales period. My birds location do not always change,they start their lives and end it at the same pen. It was not really convinient for me but then that is what my financial capability could afford. I have been thinking of a brooder birds project construction. I need a Brooder Birds construction that I can be using to brood day old birds from day one to 2weeks.
This has always been a concern for me not until my ever reliable friend @felixxx came into the project. Like seriously,he initiated and sponsored the project which I really really appreciate.
PART ONE OF THE PROJECT.
I invited the construction engineer (a carpenter) to come around and we estimated all the expenses.
The project is about constructing a brooder birds construction with 100 by 60 feet pen.
BUILDING MATERIALS WE NEED.
- 2 by 4 planks (6pieces)
- 1 by 12 planks (9pieces)
- Light planks (3pieces)
- 2pans of roofing nails
- Roofing sheet (7pieces)
- Copper Net (6¹/² yards)
- Canopy (6yards)
- Tick carton for roof cover.
After the estimation, we went to sawmill to get some of these materials. I was at the sawmill today,I went straight to someone who is like an uncle who is into this sawmill business. He supplied almost all the materials I used for my big pen.
After I have paid for the planks and all that, i was able to get a mini van that assisted me to conveyed my planks home from the sawmill. I paid like $2 for the transport from the sawmill to my place.
Finally for the day, I was also able to achieve buying copper net and canopy that will be used to cover the brooder pen Incase if there is much cold for the day old birds. As I have gotten everything set,the work will start tomorrow my God's grace. Thank you👌🏿
