A Frosty Walk to Surprise View

Jack Frost continues his visit, -6 last night, but the frost does give it a christmas card feel to the place.

After stopping a few times to take a few photos, we decided to go to Suprise View.

There are great views over the village of Hathersage and it's classed as one of the best viewpoints in the area. I'm not going to argue with that.

If you fancy a longer walk it is a a good starting point for many walks in the area.

If you don't want to walk too far, you can just follow the footpath to the top.

Here you can soak in the view or just sit and chill. It was a bit too cold though to be sat around today.

Yet more lost property. We could have a market stall with all the things that we find. Obviously, someone has gone home with a cold head!
