A new working week is starting tomorrow and we need to get all our plans in place in order to have a productive week. There are some plans that require us to take some moment to gather together all the necessary tools (information) needed but oftentimes we do not give our all to this course.

The internet, blogs, newsletters, videos and the likes are useful in getting hints, clues as well as inspiration that could make it easy to accomplish our life goals. Unfortunately, with abundance of sources to get information from we still lose focus and derail from our set goals. Distractions could be sometimes inevitable but it is key to know how to get rid of it. There could be loss of motivation if distractions are not curbed as soon as possible.

Distractions could be as little as the movie that you're watching that makes a post you're preparing that shouldn't last more than an hour or so to extend to almost three hours (that's if you are even able to complete it in a day) because you're engrossed in the movie

In order to stay focus, daily motivation, inspiration and enthusiasm is needed on high level. Whether you want to lose weight or you want to improve in your academics or business, some of these tips that I'm going to be sharing may be useful.

As you plan for a new week remember that it takes a well designed plan that have all the goals and milestones that you want to achieve to be a success. It is important to answer HOW, WHEN, WHERE and WHY you want to achieve your goals. Set out a plan that is clear and achieveable within a specific time frame. For instance, if you want to submit an assignment as a student in three days time, ensure you plan to complete the assignment within two days so that you'd have time to crosscheck and ensure you did the right thing.

Plan for the next day using your night, so that you'd have enough time to put everything in order before the rush hours of the morning. In the morning, we often wake up trying to beat the time and it's possible to miss one or two things. It is better to set a plan before you got to bed in the night on what and how you want your day to go. This method makes you have less to think about in the morning, making your morning less tedious. It is more easier to arrange your outfits, polish your shoes, set your bag and so on.

Alternatively, if you are someone that wakes up early, you can do your planning as soon as you wake up. The choice is yours to do what you feel is best for you.

Distractions can hinder your progress if you don't stay off them. Beverly Imes says that β€œbe aware when distractions come your way. You’ll know it’s a distraction when you stop doing what you’re supposed to be doing and find yourself pondering things that have no value.” Movies, social media, internet and so on can be a distraction. Friends and colleagues can also pose to be a distraction that will make you lose focus from your goals. The best decision you'd ever make is to detach yourself from any form of distractions if you want to make progress.
