Hello Splinter nerds
What is your favorite summoner in the modern format league now? There was a time I was addicted to the use of Yodin Zaku in almost 80 percent of my battles because of how amazing the stats are, especially the blast ability but now that Zaku has been removed from modern, I missed it.
The summoner I derive pleasure in using now is Akane but I can't use it blindly the way I use Yodin, which is because there are certain rules that it may not fit in while there are some battles that it is just what you needed to win!
It is a dual summoner but surprisingly I only use it for one of the stats which is the 2+ Ambush, The second stat is not useless but I just don't think it is worth using it as a summoner just for that when there are monsters with that ability that can fill the void.
I have won a lot of battles using Akane, especially with the combo of Venka the vile
I had a battle of 3 rulesets
Fabfour A rule set in which only 4 monsters can be used so players need to come up with their best team to tackle the opponent.
Stampede: I love this ruleset, it is one of my favorite rulesets, trample monsters can do as much trample as they can without a limit as long as they eliminate the monsters they hit.
Aim true: This rule just made what I was going to use clearer, it is a rule that makes all attacks always hit their target.
These three rules make things easier for me, I already knew what I was going to use even though it was a low mana cap of 14 ruleset.
This is a game of Speed, the fastest to attack win and since I do not know what the opponent would use, I used Akane with the Ambush stats which would make my monster attack even before the first round began, and that favors me favorably.
The opponent came with 4 monsters, 3 attackers and placed Chaos agent at the last position, i guess he was protecting his team against sneaky attacks from me but unfortunately for him, I didn't use any sneak and to crown it all, I only used one monster that can attack which is Venka the Vile
It was a flawless victory and one of the best battles of today because the opponent was not given a chance to make an attack attempt.
Venka attacked twice and after eliminating the opponent tank, the trample was activated and he eliminated the other 3 monsters too straightaway.
