Joan had been a wedding planner for many years and had learned how to frame prospective wedding couples after just a few meetings. Her job was like that of a tightrope walker, when one of them proposed something divisive she had to intervene with a counter proposal to rebalance the situation. A positive and constructive attitude was fundamental as well as giving importance and support to both sides. But the ingredient that cemented a single thought was to suggest ideas and proposals as if they had been conceived by both spouses.

Joan faceva la wedding planner da molti anni ed aveva imparato a inquadrare le coppie di futuri sposini dopo pochi incontri. Il suo lavoro era come quello di un'equilibrista, quando uno dei due proponeva qualcosa di divisivo dove intervenire con una controproposta per riequilibrare la situazione. Un atteggiamento positivo e costruttivo erano fondamentali nonchè dare importanza e supporto ad entrambi gli schieramenti. Però l'ingrediente che cementava un pensiero unico, consisteva nel suggerire idee e proposte come se fossero state concepite da entrambi gli sposini.
