My name is Sylvanus Godwin Ekpe. I am from Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria. I grew up at Cross River state. I am a Christian and I am a part of Christian Fellowship Evangelical church. Dad is a retired pastor while my mom is a trader and a farmer. I stay with my elder brother and I’m glad to learn many things having come to stay with him, including Hive.
Mom sells in provision shop, she was undoubtedly doing well financially not until shop lost everything from theft then she decided to focus only on the farming, even though it was a little bit hard for us in the area of food and money to sponsor our secondary school but we gave the support she needed with the help of God and men I was able to write my SSCE and graduated as an art student in political science course.
I decided to apply and work in a laundry shop because I could iron my cloths and school wears, now I started working in a laundry shop in my area, I started learning how to wash, treat and to iron other people’s cloths this gave me enough experience in this field.
I later travelled from Calabar to Uyo to live with my elder brother. On arriving in Uyo, I was happy as well as he was, after some few weeks I started searching for job which he also helped me. As an O level degree holder from a reputable secondary school in Cross River State
Apart from laundry services, I love music and praying. I learnt how to play drums when I was much younger. I also love music, and exploring new places. I have had so many experiences growing up as from home, environment, peer group and school even working as youth currently sometimes I get discouraged about hearing so many superstitions as a teenager but I can now choose what to believe.
While growing I was meant to believe that good things can only come the way of the good people financially and materially then only bad things occurs to the wicked people, meanwhile it is not actually so I now come to understand that the principles to must be learnt and applied for expected results.
As a child who grew up in a Christian home and environment I believe in God and the power of his reality, therefore I put my faith in him and believe that He alone can see me through in my business and education. I also like I.T which I look forward to learn skills in it which is computer programming. Currently, I.T is one of the lucrative skill one should have personally, in the world today an average person in the society enjoys the benefit of I.T in various ways starting from our personal gadgets like phones, smart TVs, cars and the rest like almost everything in the world is digitalised which makes I.T broad and open for everyone. I strongly believe in success and always desiring to learn new things.
As an instrumentalist and a laundry cleaner, my friends here are free to consult me for related services ad pay me with Hive. I started playing drums when I was Six (6) year of age. I’m working hard to grow in my knowledge of the art and I hope to become a professional player soon.
I have so much passion for music so I will be posting videos of myself here and also willing to take my music carrier to the next level I'm so happy to be here on this platform after sometime surfing through here I have seen that it is a friendly place to be where you can teach learn and also earn I am here on hive to learn a lot and also contribute to the quota for the growth and development of the eco system.
