Hi hvers on this great community, we roll again as usual this is my entry on “that one thing we find difficult to do”.
As humans we all have our likes and dislikes therefore the is bound to be difficulties doing what we don't like, but here I want to share with you guys what I find very difficult to do
We have divers food and many people eat different meals or type of food depending on;
Social influence do you know that the food we eat depends on social influence in that group of people that shares the same culture,values and behavior are bound to share the same food that's why we have different food from different regions,you will likely hear things like
“oh my God is this what you guys eat here? in my place we don't prepare it like this”!!,A perfect example.
Religious influence people that are born into religious homes are also meant to believe that there are foods that is not accepted depending on their religious believe, Muslims don't eat pork meat and à don't drink alcoholic drinks.
The reason why I'm giving these simple examples is that I can't imagine my self eating a particular meat that popular in some society and environment, can you guess? Well that's snake 🐍 ,I am not condeming it and those that eat it but like I said I have not had a test of it before and will not in the future.
Someone may ask, why don't you eat snakes they are very nice meat when prepared well by a good cook or chef. But up till today my reasons for disliking snake meat are not comvinceable but it one of the most difficult thing for me to so
When I was a kid I have never been intruduce to eating of a snake meat and while growing I've never seen people around me do that so it seems like a forbidden thing to eat a snake meat 🍖 in my own locality so automatically everything within me has been program to dislike snakes, I can't even stand a chance of killing one not to talk of cooking it as food.
I remember while in the village it was a very Sunny day I was the only one at home so I went under the big tree in our compound to have some rest but I had the greatest sho k of my life when I heard something dropped on my back then quickly use my bare hands to wipe away not knowing it is a snake, with the shock I stood up and ran after the incident I lost sleep for some night and I could not tell it to anyone because they would not believe me I was afraid, what if the snake had bitten me on my neck that day.
So it would be hard for me to eat a meal prepared with snake no matters how tasty it may be therefore by default very difficult for me to compromise.
