Food is essential for healthy living. Without food of any kind, one will lack energy and nutrient supplements needed for living right. There are several food forms and ways of preparation and recipes varies, food is life and should be treasured and appreciated.

In Sub-Saharan countries, there's a way of preparing and cooking of rice that's unique, special and tasty. Everyone loves it and common in their events and occasions. The recipes for the different countries and region varies, but jellof rice is very good and nutritious. It's very important part of our life.

In the recipe, the spicy condiments are most common and unique. Peppers, onions and other spicy items are added for the food. It's aroma is very refreshing and attracting. There's provision for meats, fish and even eggs for the protein enrichment. Fruits and vegetables can be supplements too during eating jellof rice.

Although the price of food items are costly, rices are very expensive as well as other ingredients but many still cook jellof rices as there are alternative to every items to enrich our jellof rice and cooking time is in few hours. Everyone enjoys it.

Although we don't use rice to worship idols, but jellof rice in itself is reverend and respected. Any wedding or other occasion that jellof rice is not served, everyone will leave the occasion disheartened and unhappy. Jellof rice is our life and our joy.

Disappointed when Jellof rice from several countries and regions of west African countries are compared. It is a burning and heated argument among youths especially online spaces. They are varieties and appreciated. Everyone prepare theirs based on item and recipes at hand. Even if you prided with yours, believe me that there are times, yours are not tasty, healthier and spicy at all times. I value all type of jellof rice and can eat it with my chilled soft drinks at all days and times.
