I am glad to be African, I can never trade that for anything, although I do wish I had a touch of Western life. Deep down in me, I enjoyed being an African lady, a Nigerian to be precise. My country is known for its unending cruise and vibes, no matter how difficult things are for the citizens of this wonderful country, we do find our ways around it and have fun. Africa is known for its rich culture, every country in the African continent has its peculiarity and this cannot be overemphasized.
AFRICAN DRESSING
When we talk about dressing, Africa has a good dressing sense and this helped invite Western countries to partake in the richness of African dressings. We can not but notice how white men and women are coming down to African countries to get their native attire and clothing materials. It is well-noticed in Western countries and this has helped contribute to the growth of the African countries.
Taking my country as a case study, we have different kinds of clothing materials that are beautifully made for our endowment. There are party clothes popularly known as same, this range from Ankara, a dire (tie and dye fabrics), guinea fabric, to the different kinds of laces worn on different occasions. Africans are known for decent dressings, though in this present generation, we are emulating the Western ways of dressing which are not as ideal as the traditional ones we are used to.

It can be used to sew any form of style other than the ripped jeans and crop tops we put on today due to Western culture that we are all claiming today forgetting our African heritage.
AFRICAN MUSIC
Africa is known for their good music, there are different genres of music from Africa which is well accepted in the whole world today. Taking Nigeria as an example again, we have genres like fuji, juju, apala, and the like before the popular known afro beats. These are the forms of music people listened to before civilization and it does pass good messages to the people who listened to them.
The lyrics of the songs always teach good morals, some serve as correction for bad acts and the songs always put one on the right track in life. African music is the best and African artists are improving daily to retain the standard their forefathers left behind.
AFRICAN FOODS
I am a lover of good food, feel free to call me a foodie, I agree with you. African food had no rival, I mean at any point in time I would choose African food over Western food. Africa has indigenous foods that cannot be overemphasized, there are some African foods you can never get tired of eating. The satisfaction derived from it is enough to keep craving more. Western food is something I'm not so used to which might make it a bit difficult for me to choose over African food.

The freshness in African food makes it healthier and more nourishing to the body. I don't enjoy eating Western food that much because to me, it isn't as traditionally equipped as African foods. My mom is a chef and sometimes when she prepares all these Western intercontinental dishes, I don't enjoy eating them as I do when eating African foods I know all the ingredients and the nutritious values they add to the body.
All in all, I prefer African dressing, music, and food to Western ones.
