It is no new news that good work ethics is the only thing that ensures that a company, an organisation or a business thrives when both employers and employees lack good work ethics then the organisation or firm is definitely going to meet it end in no time. One way or another we must have had an experience of working with people who lack proper work ethics and must have seen how it ended, we also have people in work places that preach good work ethics but don't practice it but expect every other person to practice it.

I have worked in quite a toxic environment too, a work place becomes very toxic when workers lack proper work ethics. In a work place where workers lack proper work ethics things can only get worse, which makes it a toxic place and not everyone can cope. No one enjoys working in a toxic environment which means at a point in time workers will start to quit or will cease other job offers at places where they feel comfortable and less toxicity, and workers quitting simply means the firm or organisation starts to fold slowly until they run out of staffs completely and are forced to either sell off or start from the scratch again.
Work ethics is something one should practice until retirement, it is not something you stop to practice once you get to a certain level at your work place. I have seen a lot of people get to a higher position at their work place and they automatically change and start practicing bad work ethics forgetting that junior staffs are actually watching and following in their footsteps and would one day do want to practice the same thing the senior staff does and these senior staff might not be able to challenge them because they do exactly the same thing.
The absence of a single work ethics can actually delay the progress of an organisation, then I try to picture when two or more work ethics are lacked by employers and employees, the company will only be moving backwards and things can only keep getting worst.
The lack of proper work ethics is bad for business, for me I am somebody who likes to enjoy their own company and don't really like associating but ever since I realised the importance of team work I try to be more open. For any organisation to move forward, every worker must be willing to work with eachother. Failure to work as a team will only delay the job and make it take even longer than it was supposed to. Working as a team was one job ethic I lacked but not anymore, just to get the job done every worker must set aside their differences, be open and do everything possible to see to it that the job is done on time.
