Human has been in existence since the beginning of creation, and over the years, I wondered how they lived and how they've survived. It must have been tough, although, they would have argued it wasn't.
My grandpa would always say, we children of nowadays are spoilt and lazy. He would go ahead to say during his own time, they had to walk thousand miles to get to a place, and they spent days, month and even years traveling. It would take them days to send a letter and also to receive a letter. To me, those periods were tough and hard and I've thought about it severally, "can I survive, if I was born at that time"..."maybe I would and maybe not".
Over the years, we've had different leaders and they've tried to make the world a better place, history has also recorded quite a number of bad people and leaders that have had a number of doings in the world. Maybe the saying is true, "the bad cannot be totally erase from the world".
The family is the first earth in the world. Everyone has a family. Someone got married to someone and they had at least someone as an offspring.
The family is the first educational center for a child, a place to learn values, morals, basic knowledge about people and how to relate to them.
The family is the first garden of love and affection, in which a child is planted into. From cradle, family raises the child and till adulthood, the family constitutes 80% of the child behavior and attitude, the remaining 20% is gotten from the society where he meets and mingles with other people from other families.
The family built on hatred, lies, envy, bitterness won't produce a good offspring to the society, there's going to be trait of those negative attitude in the child and because the child is going into the society, automatically, the society has been polluted. It's going to take an intentional effort for the child to change his attitude and that comes with extra effort and in some cases money.
The family built on love, trust, oneness, good morals and values, the family with positive foundation will produce good offspring to the society.
Families make a society and societies make a nation which will later lead to the world on the long run. The family is the basic root and foundation of a nation.
For a nation to get better, I believe everyone should go back to fixing their families and getting better with them. That way, blood bad will be reduced if not totally stopped. If families can understand that no one is above another irrespective of race, country, culture, gender, and that human are equal and deserves same rights and treatment, if families can learn to give more than receive, if they can understand that terrorizing the weaker and fragile doesn't make them heroes or special, if they can learn to share and accommodate strangers, and if they learn to judge less and be more understanding, I believe the world would be better for everyone.
We are responsible for making the world a better place. Constant reminder that everyone is human and we breath same air, walk same land and look up at same sky every day is enough. Raise your sons to be the the type of husbands you would want for your daughters, and raise your daughters to be the type of wives you would want for your sons.
Every child deserves good upbringing, no child deserves to be left alone or raise with no affection. We need conscience to feel, that way we can understand others. A child is going to be an adult eventually and will also have and raise a family.
