I will like bring back traditional values we had when growing up, these traditional values are gradually disappearing in the air of social lifestyle and modernization.
I will like to speak on the followings
Respect: Respect is an act of giving honour, reverence to whom it is due. In those days you don't talk to an elder or any one that seniors you or even your equal with you hand in your pocket. Another one is when you are sited in a congregation an elder comes around a younger gives seat to an elder. Further more when your seated with you parents and suddenly a visitor come all the children disappears from the sitting room until the visitor leaves. Moreover when you see an old woman carrying load you assist her by helping her with the load. Our manner of greetings is vanishing as African we have different style. Let take the three major tribes in Nigeria that is the House, Igbos and Yoruba. The housa's bend on their knees to greet while the yoruba's prostrate on the ground to greet no matter how expensive you clothe are that's their way and lastly the igbos squart with a tap by the elder on the back of the person greeting. These traditional value's if have my way I will enforce it at every learning center.

  1. Children upbringing. The generation we are in is the generation of spear the child and spoil the child which totally against scripture that says spear the rod and spoil the child. A child will commit and offense and the parents will pet the child so the child will not sue his parents. We were not raised like that. Our parents bit us, rebuked us, scolded us punish us with different kinds of punishment that made us what we are by the grace of God. Moreso, children talk back to their parents and even beat them and the worst of all kill their parents. Since we have lost control of them.
3.Which one will I talk about and leave which is it our African modest way of dressing, our glorious heritage that we left for Western patterns of dressing that is degrading the integrity of humanity. I can go on and on and on but will like to stop here because the list is unending.
Hope you will enjoy little contribution of looking back at the root.
