Money is not all to a better world

What would you do differently to make the world a better place?

This question got me thinking so deep the moment I saw it. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Indeed what can I do differently to make the world a better place? I kept asking myself

Money would do. That was what first came to my mind. I will make sure people have more job opportunities and as a result of that, there'll be no poor people and if there are no poor people, the world will be perfect. Simple

But then I realized instantly that the level of greed and wickedness in the hearts of human has no limit. People will always want more. No matter how much they have, they'll still want more.

Some people don't want others to be as rich as they are. So even if I am able to make everyone rich, the struggle to be called the richest of all will increase and that will lead to more wickedness and evil.

This same fight for more wealth and power is why small nations that were trying to survive were destroyed by bigger nations and now, nations are still competing for power and influence.

This brought me to what I would do differently

If there's something stronger than anything else in the world that I know of is LOVE

PREACHING LOVE: Love can make a home liveable, a friend trustable and the world a better place. If I can show people how to love, there'll be so much peace in the world.

We can all attest to the fact that in a home where there is love, you don't need to own the whole world to enjoy staying there.

My little story: I have always been someone that cared less about how people feel. All I ever cared about was myself and my interest. And that mindset made life somehow boring for me. I used people instead of loving them. And that led to me having fake friends because everyone was out for their interest and nothing more. I had been hurt a lot of time and I have hurt others.

I cried most times because I was either betrayed, lied to or used. My happy moments were few. And I was always out to reciprocate whatever they did to me.

That all changed when I understood love. Thank God for Christianity, the knowledge of Christ and it's teaching on love and the Holy Spirit.

How I saw people changed completely, I started treating people nicer just how I would love to be treated and believe me, I'm living my best life with the best people.

I met people that understands what I understood and that made life amazing. I now have people in my life that always got my back, are true to me and are trustworthy. Now life is worth living.

This brings me to my second point

KNOWLEDGE: Having the right knowledge is everything. People act the way they do because of what they know and have come to believed. Just like myself. I now act differently because of what I know and have come to believe.

Someone can hurt you thinking it's ok. Meanwhile it's not. That is because of what they know and have come to understand. If you really want that kind of person changed, change how he thinks.

How I plan on achieving that

I will go out of my way to instill the right knowledge in the hearts of people. Starting from those around me. Little by little, the world is changing. If everybody can understand and think rightly, believe me this world will be more than a better place to live in.

You might want to say love is being preached how comes we are still living in such a world?

The truth is that, Love is first a person before and act. And that person is CHRIST JESUS. Unless He is truly understood, we can never be changed. It's beyond having a place of worship but understanding who He is and Why He came.

The journey of a thousand miles they say begins with a step. This is my first step.
