LRWD: Long Run on a Windy Day

I wanted to make a run a little longer than usual lately. For that I have gone with the dog to run on the river bank, free of traffic, traffic lights and distractions and with a flat route although on soil and grass.

As soon as I arrived at the site I realized the strong wind that ran from the sea to the land, I started running upstream and I didn't have a good feeling from the beginning, however, the tailwind helped me a lot to do the first 4km without effort although somewhat high at the heart rate level.
When I turned around I realized how strong the gusts of wind were, although I wanted to continue with the plan and gradually increase the speed as the kilometers passed, everything in a controlled way... but, although I finished the Last km at 4'20"/km my heart and breathing told me that it had totally passed me since I have invested a lot of effort to counteract the resistance of the wind...
There is nothing that bothers me more than the wind when I go running. I don't mind rain or other weather conditions but gusty winds bother me quite a bit.
In the end it has been a good 8km in less than 40'... I didn't want to do more because of the conditions explained.
