Zone 2 run

I just finished a 10.25km running that lasted about 1hh:2mm:5ss !


I still have a serious case of DOMS from Mondays expedition run/climb so a recovery run was in order. I’ve come off Strava whilst i’m training to run far so that I don’t feel any pressure to run fast so this is the best time to try out the zone 2 stuff. To be honest I probably couldn’t have gone much faster anyway because my thighs are still so sore!
I went for a cross country 10k through the local fields. The pace was lovely (just shy of 10min miles) and my body didn’t feel under any strain at all. Infact, my legs feel significantly better for getting out :)
