Arguably the fastest parkrun course in Brisbane. Definitely one of my favorites is Sangate, you can see the whole course from the start line, nice wide concrete path, out and back and it flat as a pan cake.
Once a year they put on speed week and lots of good runners show up.
More than 500 runners and walkers showed up this morning and about 150 of them finished under 20 minutes, unfortunately I wasn't one of them but happy to settle with a personal best for the year and my Sandgate course of PB of 21:09
It is just the same as any normal parkrun but they spend a bit more time getting everyone seeded at the start.
