Description from Strava:

At around three pm a summer storm crossed our area. The strong wind was followed by a modest rain. It was the wind that caused a lot of damage in the city.

Less than two hours after the storm passed I went off running into the forest. There were many branches lying on the trails including some newly fallen tree trunks.

So, the first part of the run was often a stop and pick the branch and throw it off the path and make some photos along the way. Luckily, the second part was through the Rašica village and back down into Magpie's Valley and home.

It was ten K of fun, I loved it.

The photos to illustrate the run are in chronological order.

Through the fern

A young tree across the trail

I love trails like these, out of sight, nobody around

Forest road helped this tree trunk to find its horizontal rest

More fallen trees

While crossing the trunks I cut my leg and didn't even notice it

The first sign of early autumn, a very young wild chesnut

Out of the woods and a view across the pastures toward the Rašica village

Back home, shoes off. I love these Salming Elements 3 shoes

better and better
