Estos días estoy desempolvando música de otros tiempos, lejanos porque han pasado entre entre 20 y 24 años desde que salió al mercado y cercanos porque han pasado volando y parece que fuese ayer cuando me encontraba en mi habitación de niña de la casa de mi infancia, cantando y bailando sin parar todo el santo día, para distracción o aburrimiento de mis vecinos y familia. Siento mucho no haber tenido mesura ni contención. ¡Qué demonios! Aquel afán por la música me dio la vida en una época muy dificil para mí. Y qué decir, Mónica Naranjo con su voz espectacular y única, su persona con esa soltura con la que hablaba y cantaba, su belleza, su forma de vestir y su baile desenfadados, sus canciones tratando todo tipo de temas de amor y desamor, de desengaño y esperanza, sin tabúes, despredía un aire de libertad brutal que para una chica, como era yo, que me había criado muy sujeta a mis padres y sus normas, pues supuso el descubrir que otras vidas eran posible y fue maravilloso. Fue el comiezo de la que sería mi vida después hasta hoy. Así que para mí esta música fue muy importante y para empezar quiero compartir con vosotros la canción "Pantera en Libertad" del disco "Palabra de mujer" (1997) que para mí fue único, especial y todo un descubrimiento. Esta canción me daba la fuerza y el empuje que me faltaba, me cargaba las pilas a tope, siendo como era yo una chica muy tímida y cortada, me ayudó en mi proceso de deshinibirme, soltarme la melena y lanzarme al mundo que había más allá del portal de mi casa. Os dejo disfrutando de este videoclip que no tiene desperdicio por lo psicodélico que es y moderno para la época.

Da un mensaje claro de que una persona puede rehacer su vida y volver a tener esperanza, sea lo que sea que nos haya pasado anteriormente.

(ES) Cambiamos de disco. Ahora os hablo de "Minage", un álbum lanzado el 20 de Marzo del 2000. Está dedicado a la cantante italiana Mina, pues la mayor parte de los sencillos son versiones en español de sus canciones.
Y cómo no, ahora llega una canción que no solo es una canción, es mucho más, es un grito de libertad, es un himno de lucha y fue una revolución adelantada a su época. Me refiero a "Sobreviviré". El vídeo que os muestro corresponde a una actuación de Fin de año en TVE (año 2000).

Pertenece a una época de mi vida en la que había dejado atrás la adolescencia y me adentraba en una juventud que fue sencillamente maravillosa. Esta canción me trae recuerdos buenísimos y mucha nostalgia de aquel tiempo, de todo lo vivido y de personas que ya no están y echo de menos cada día.
