Johann Sebatian Bach, Triosonate nr 3, Vivace | Secrets of Organ Playing Contest, week 139

This is my entry for the Secrets of Organ Playing Contest. I play the third movement of Bach's third Triosonate, BWV 527

It is a wonderful joyous piece of music. Filled with triplets and a very active pedal part, it's difficult to play. After two weeks of hard work and a great many hours of practising, this is the result. The movement starts relatively easy with one theme for the hands and repeated notes in the pedal part. After the other had has played the theme as well, the fun starts. Bach throws in a lot of triplets that make the music very joyous to listen to, but also very hard to play. It's nevertheless worth all the trouble, as it is such a fantastic piece of music.

The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Voxus, of the Müller organ in the Sint Bavokerk, Haarlem (https://www.voxusorgans.com/en/product/haarlem).
