Una mañana muy temprano, alguien desbordaba de felicidad, ay estaba todo por cuanto había luchado sus últimos años hecho realidad, sus ojos no podían creer lo que veían un puñado de hombres fuertes, presurosos cargaban sin parar repartiendo equitativamente en tres (3) embarcaciones, alimentos, agua y un montón de cosas más, tanto discutir con la Reina dio sus frutos , ella cumplió su palabra, Cristoforo Colombo o mejor dicho Cristóbal Colón como lo rebautizamos por acá ese día tan especial estaba a punto de partir del puerto de palo Génova hacia la India, cuentan que para el momento de su partida se habían juntado unas cuatro mil personas, que gritaban desaforadamente, algunos imaginamos que animaban al cartógrafo, al avezado marinero, pero no, lo insultaban por mentiroso, loco, en esos tiempos creían, que el mundo era plano y lo sostenían dos elefantes gigantes que a su vez lo sostenían monstruos marinos habría que pensar quien estaba más loco, el aseguraba que era ovalado como un huevo de gallina.
Entre insultos, partió y "¡¡¡CAMBIÓ PARA SIEMPRE LA FORMA EN QUE VEMOS A EL MUNDO!!!"
Siempre, me asombro cómo la gente intenta detener, a alguien con visión, que logra ver más allá de lo evidente y creo que esta canción lo describe de una forma increíble y mágica.
