Today is the sweetest day on the "National Holiday" Calendar listing for January 19th. This is most certainly a great day to get your microwave pinging constantly for "National Popcorn Day" 😋
Personally, I love eating Popcorn but it does tend to get stuck in most of my teeth for ages LOL! Enjoyment comes with some drawbacks, as the kids will hassle you for more and more to eat. So Popcorn is best made after Dinner so they don't spoil their appetite, and get you annoyed with them.
My song choice for this entertaining event is an old hit (in the UK) many years ago, appropriately named "Popcorn" performed by "Hot Butter" (such a great name for a Music Band LOL). They did have a couple of further hits, but then faded away from the Music charts. Perhaps they ran out of more butter... 😎

Anyway, this pop song was first released around 1972 and I do remember buying the single on 7 inch Vinyl . All music was on Vinyl back then, as we all had record players (a time long before mobile phones, iPods or Music streaming was available ~ so hard to imagine that now! 🤔
