While reading different post from @Projecthope community, this topic came into my mind. I have seen a lot of people set up a business without goals. This is really funny. It is just like walking without direction. People tend to set up a business or run a business base on the fact that they are seeing their friend making money from same business. If you are in this boat sailing, you should better change your mindset because you will fail as time progresses.
One thing I always preach when it comes to business is that business is not for shallow minded individuals. It is not for the weak, it is not for those who can't stand frustration. Business is for those who can loose money in their trade and still keep pushing. Business is for those who are risk takers, it is for those who knows the in and out of their business. If you possess all the above criteria, you will see your self ⛵ sailing in one of the best boat so far. If you are in your rightful field of business, you will not struggle to succeed. This is one major thing that people don't know when it comes to business. Instead sticking to what they know, they will jump into that business when they saw their friend doing same and making money from it. If you don't want to experience outbreak in that business along the line in the future, just take a big step backward and start that business that you have wider knowledge about. When you are in a business you have knowledge about, you will be able to stand when challenges arises.
I made a parable while writing this post. I said having no business plan is like having no destination in life or rather still no goal. Even though you are facing challenges in life, you should have your goal if not, the purpose of you living won't be needed.
Since I am in this world, I have never seen anybody who is without plan. I don't think that type of human exist, but if they exist, they should bring their self back and key into a business with a goal. Business goals allows you to be able to progresses in the rightful ways, slow and steady.
Back to business and back to how business goal is very important in business. First of all, some of my readers might not know what business goal is so am using this medium to get them educated.
Business goal according to my own understanding can be defined as the process of setting up a target in your business and along the line deploying every strategy that will make sure that the target is met. For example, if you have a business and you see that your business is not doing well the way you want it, you just have to seat down and think of a strategy that you need to deploy which will see your business progressing to the apex height. Imagine I had a clothing line and I know that I needed more wears, if that is on my road map and I don't have the complete money to meet that target, all I should do is to set up a goal/target. This goal is to see me setting the target that will enable me to be buying my wears slow and steady. The capit and profit from the business should not be used any time any day. while trying to meet up with this goal, we should be strict as challenges will always come, don't fall for it.
The business goal is just like your business road map, all you have to do is to draft it out and work towards it. You should aim at one thing at a time. Follow your road map or whitepaper always and you shall never get disappointed along the line. Once you have your business goal and you are working towards it, you will be able to know what decision you should be able to carry out next.
A business without a road map or goal will somehow someday hit downtrend and you shall struggle to revive it. Working towards your business goal/aim within a short period of time will see your business doing well.
Reading through this post, we all can see that business goal is important. You should make sure that you draft our your road map, i.e your business goal before you even venture into any business. List what and what you should be doing and make sure you keep towards it during your hard time also. If you can maintain this, your business will one day hit apex.
