Most times when you talk about networking, people think it is only about referring people to join a particular business. Networking is not only about trading information, it is also about creating a long term relationship with mutual benefits.
In other words; networking is a way of establishing mutual relationship with other business people and potential clients.
To a large extent, many successful people today in their career/businesses got there due to a strong network they have built over the years.
