It is no doubt that we all hear on the News, in term papers and so many other media outlets that soon, AI will take over human jobs completely. It is no doubt that we now have self-driving cars, internet of things and so on. It is no doubt that most of the jobs that we do currently today will be replaced but not all jobs. So many blue and white collar jobs will be lost in this process but not all jobs will be replaced.
When a job is replaced, there are new jobs created almost immediately and on job that will be created like almost immediately is the job of repairing the robot, programming the robot and so on. Jobs like taxi drivers, cashiers and so on may lose their relevance in the world but that does not mean that there will not be new jobs and industry as a whole.
Writing, graphics design and communicating/persuasion may not be replaces but repetitive jobs will surely be replaced. Artificial intelligence in its fullest way will be able to repair itself and still remove a few more jobs and by then humans will need to survive. At this point the essence of paying money will change. There will be a form of Universal Basic income and rationing should incase this happens.
Humans will not want to be left idle doing nothing through out, we are innovative being and we will keep being innovative even if AI becomes a thing to take Job.
