The old cement plant had been closed since the 50s. It had employed many people in the small town. Now all that is left is a sign by the water to remind folks where it once stood.
The lush green land around the river is occasionally inhabited by a stray cow from a nearby farm. A cat is often seen in the area checking for rodents. The fantasy figure was build by the local high school students one Halloween and still stands as a testimony to their creative workmanship.
