Even a summer break can also be fun. And it would be a great surprise if we had filled the LMAC prize pool to the brim by the end of this current summer break (until Sept.17).
Let's all work together to fill the prize pool and have fun while spurring a little challenge.
It's always a pity that many of your great collages don't get the attention they deserve after the contests are over.
With this challenge we will have the chance to draw the community's attention to our favorite collages of other LMAC users, again.
Let's make a collage from a LMAC collage!
The idea of a community challenge
This little support challenge was approved by @shaka. We talked about it via discord.
The decisive idea was inspired by @brittandjosie with her support post. At this post then, an initial discussion about the possibility of community challenges took place.
Prize
Because it is a challenge to support the LMAC community, there will only be a small incentive. A small prize is supposed to bring the sporting spirit into this challenge.
For supporting the community, I set @hive-174695 (LMAC Community) as beneficiary with 66% for this post. From the remaining 33% of the reward, the liquid part (hive/hbd) will be shared among the winners.
Splitting of the remaining liquid reward
First place - 50%
Second place - 35%
Third place - 15%
Entry deadline is September 4, at 5pm (UTC), then the winners will be choosed via poll (dpoll) for 24h.
Rules
1. Beneficiary
- Because this challenge is for supporting the LMAC community, please make sure to set the LMAC community (-> account @hive-174695) as beneficiary with at least 20% in your entry posts.
More is also welcome. :-)
2. Starting point
- Different to the official contest, you can choose your starting point almost freely. The only condition is, to use an existing LMAC collage from another LMAC user (from any LMAC round).
- Please indicate the source of your starting point in your entry post clearly and name the artist.
3. Materials
- Please, do not forget to indicate the source of all materials used in your entry post.
- Only graphical original work (e.g. own artwork or photography) or licenced as public domain (having no copyright protection) is allowed to use as source of material.
4. Collage
- The contribution must be a collage.
- Your collage need to be posted to the LMAC community.
- Leave a link to your contribution as comment on this post.
5. Hashtag
To spread the spirit of support for our beloved community, please use also the hashtag #supportlmac in your contribution post.
