Greetings, Hivians and LMACians!
To me, the template photo of the current LMAC round looked somewhat out of this world. It didn't take long to come up with an idea.
But there was also an older idea with gnomes, to which this template would have fit really very well.
Well, now I was faced with a hard choice. On one hand, I could create something with gnomes again, even though I've done collage with magical creatures so many times before. On the other hand, I could develop a concept with the alien topic, which is already very popular in the community and therefore might have been a bit outdated.
But to be a heroic, I would have to do it anyway! And so I plunged into the intergalactic adventure.
Seid gegrüßt, Hivianer und LMACianer!
Irgendwie ausserirdisch, sah für mich das Template-Foto der laufenden LMAC-Runde aus. Eine Idee ließ nicht lange auf sich warten.
Aber da war auch noch eine ältere Idee mit Gnomen, zu der dieses Template wirklich sehr gut gepasst hätte.
Tja, da stand ich nun vor der Wahl. Auf der einen Seite endlich wieder was mit Gnomen machen, auch wenn ich schon so oft was mit Zauberwesen gebastelt habe. Oder ein Konzept zum Alien-Thema entwickeln, wobei das Thema sich ohnehin schon allergrößter Beliebtheit in der Community erfreut und daher vielleicht schon etwas ausgereizt sein könnte.
Aber Heldenmut ist, wenn mans trotzdem macht! Und so stürzte ich mich in das intergalaktische Abenteuer.
As every round, ...
a little story first
Once upon a time there was an astronaut, an intergalactic trader called Bahr Gane. He was always on the lookout for bargains, good deals and the quick money. So he travelled across the galaxy, from spaceport to spaceport, from one advanced civilisation to the next.
But Bahr Gane was also a bad businessman, who actually lost more money than he gained. Hardly anyone in the universe needed Bahr's junk. All the representatives of advanced civilisations were always quick to recognise the bad qualitiy of his offers.
But one day he tried a shortcut through an unexplored region of outer space and came across a planet he had never seen before. The ship's scanners reported intelligent life on the planet's surface and the complete absence of any spacecraft traffic.
Then Bahr Gane smelled a fat deal coming his way. "Yay, I'll trade my junk to them for goods of value. I'm sure they don't know anything about value," he thought to himself, and so he quickly landed on the planet to offer his trashy goods for sale.
While Bahr was still in the landing phase, a native of the planet noticed that a visitor from outside was approaching.
Suddenly he became frantic and ran around his house shouting and swearing. "Oh my gosh, where has my old junk gone?" he grumbled, quickly turning the whole house upside down.
"Here is it, the worthless stuff. Let's see what I can squeeze the traveller for it worth?! I'm sure he has no idea what it's really worth to us here on this planet."
The two met as Bahr Gane stepped out of his spaceship and then joyfully made their trade. Overjoyed, they said goodbye to each other afterwards and proudly carried away their purchased goods.

zuerst eine kleine Geschichte
Es war einmal ein Raumfahrer, ein intergallaktischer Händler namens Bahr Gane. Er war immer zu auf der Suche nach günstigen Angeboten, nach guten Geschäften und dem schnellen Geld. So reißte er durch die Galaxie, von Raumhafen zu Raumhafen, von einer hochentwickelten Zivilisation zur Nächsten.
Aber Bahr Gane war auch ein schlechter Geschäftsmann, der eigentlich mehr Geld verlor als dass er welches dazu gewann. Kaum jemand im Universum brauchte Bahrs Plunder. All die Vertreter hochentwickelter Zivilisationen, erkannten stets sehr schnell die Minderwertigkeit seiner Angebote.
Doch eines Tages nahm er eine Abkürzung durch eine unkartografierte Weltraumzone und stieß dabei auf einen, ihm noch unbekannten Planeten. Die Schiffs-Scanner meldeten intelligentes Leben auf der Oberfläche des Planeten und das völlige Fehlen jeglichen Raumschiffsverkehrs.
Da roch Bahr Gane ein dickes Geschäft auf ihn zukommen.
"Juhu, bei denen tausche ich meinen Plunder gegen Wertvolle Waren. Die haben bestimmt keine Ahnung von Wert.", dachte er sich und so landete er kurzerhand auf dem Planeten um dort seine billigen Waren feil zu bieten.
Während sich Bahr noch im Landeanflug befand, bemerkte ein Ureinwohner des Planeten dass sich Besuch von ausserhalb nähert.
Plötzlich wurde er ganz hektisch und rannte schreiend und fluchend durch sein Haus. "Ach herrjemine, wo ist nur mein alter Plunder hin gekommen?", meckerte er und stellte schnell das ganze Haus auf den Kopf.
"Endlich, da ist das wertlose Zeug ja endlich. Mal schauen, was ich dem Reisenden dafür wertvolles abdrücken kann?! Der hat sicher keine Ahnung, was das bei uns auf diesem Planeten wirklich wert ist."
Die beiden trafen sich, als Bahr Gane aus seinem Raumschiff stieg und schlossen freudig ihren Handel ab. Überglücklich verabschiedeten sie sich danach von einander und trugen ihre erstandenen Güter mit stolz von dannen.

LMAC ist eine großartige Community für Künstler jeder Erfahrungebene. Deren Name ist eine Abkürzung von "Let's make a collage" (Lass uns eine Collage machen).
Schau einfach mal rein. Auch wenn du denkst, du seist kein Künstler, wird dir LMAC eventuell das Gegenteil beweisen.
