Hello Hivers,
In this round (43) of the LMAC Contest the template photo is again amazing. I was immediately inspired and I saw clearly Asgard Castle on the hills of this beautiful scenario. There is something divine up there in my vision. The hills are somehow majestic and the land below seems magically peaceful to me and the scenario looks almost like from another world.
So it was not so much a decision as more a destiny that the home of the old gods became the objective of my collage.
The rainbow in the collage is said to represent Bifröst. It is the divine path to the other worlds of the germanic mythology. And there is a rune stone that shows travelers the way to the castle.
The Castle Hill lies in a rest of the fog that was left over from the birth of the known universe.

I remodelled the roof of this tiny chateau in the Netherlands/Kerkrade into the roof of the Asgard castle.
Yes, I used it already for LMAC 41 :-).
The next one is from a barefoot path in Hesse/Germany. It shows a basalt rock.
This is the basic material source of the castle Asgard. It shows a chateau on the grounds of the Neu-Schwanstein Castle in Bavaria / Germany.
Other parts of the collage, like the fog and the rainbow were digitally generated. I did the whole creation in GIMP.
