Greetings my appreciated Hive Collectors community! Hoping you have a happy start to the week, today I share with you the final part of my collection of Predator figures. These are the last pieces of my collection, covering the saga of Aliens vs Predator (2004-2007) and Predators (2010). Since 1990 we had an absolute drought of films about our intergalactic hunter, the weight that the franchise had acquired and the interest of many production companies in acquiring the rights to make the film made it difficult to finalize a sequel to Predator 2. It was not until 2004 fourteen years after 20th Century Fox gave director Paul W. S. Anderson the green light for a Crossover between Aliens and Predator. > Desde 1990 tuvimos una absoluta sequía de películas de nuestro cazador intergaláctico, el peso que había adquirido la franquicia y el interés de muchas productoras por hacerse con los derechos para hacer la película hicieron complicado concretar una secuela de Predator 2. To be honest, as a fan of that crossover I didn't like it at all, neither the design of the Yautjas nor the xenomorphs, so I had no interest in having figures from that forgettable movie. But in 2007 the sequel would come out: AvP: Requiem, a direct continuation of the first film, where a veteran and high-ranking Predator is called from the far reaches of the galaxy to contain the disaster caused by the xenomorphs from the first film. Although this sequel was also harshly criticized, I must be fair in saying that it has one of the best Predators ever designed and it is the figure that I want to show you: The Wolf Predator. >Siendo honestos, como fan ese crossover no me gusto para nada, ni el diseño de los Yautjas ni de los xenomorfos así que no tuve ningún interés en tener figuras de esa olvidable película. Pero en 2007 saldría la secuela: AvP: Requiem una continuación directa de la primera película, donde un Predator veterano y de alto rango es llamado desde los confines de la galaxia para contener el desastre provocado por los xenomorfos de la primera película. Esta secuela aunque también fue duramente criticada, yo debo ser justo al decir que tiene uno de los mejores Predators jamás diseñados y es la figura que quiero mostrarte: El Wolf Predator.

This is a Predator with class and lineage! A true experienced hunter, Neca had the rights to create this figure in 2007 and it is noted that for his design, they were studying the possibility of making a statue-type figure, that is, completely immobile or partially mobile. In any case, I think the decision to design this partially posable figure was the best decision of all and the level of artistic detail of the figure is such that it even surpasses the designs of his later figures. As a curiosity, the name "Wolf" Predator was assigned because of the job that this predator has in the film, which is to clean up any trace of xenomorphs and yautjas on planet Earth, that is, he is a crime scene cleaner just like Mr. Wolf from the movie Pulp Fiction (1994) played by Harvey Keitel. >Este si es un Predator con Clase y estirpe! En cualquier caso, la decisión de diseñar esta figura parcialmente posable creo que fue la mejor decisión de todas y es que el nivel de detalle artístico de la figura es tal que incluso supera los diseños de sus figuras posteriores. Como curiosidad el Nombre de "Wolf" Predator se le asigno por la labor que tiene este predator en la película que es limpiar cualquier rastro de xenomorfos y yautjas en el planeta Tierra, es decir, es un limpiador de escenas de crimen tal como Mr. Wolf de la pelicula Pulp Fiction (1994) interpretado por Harvey Keitel.

The figure has limited mobility, it can move feet, arms, knees and head but its design is made to acquire a single posture, mobility was sacrificed but a lot was gained in design and cinematographic fidelity. > La figura tiene una movilidad limitada, puede mover pies, brazos, rodillas y cabeza pero su diseño esta hecho para adquirir una sola postura, se sacrificó movilidad pero se gano mucho en el diseño y la fidelidad cinematográfica.

If the Wolf Predator with his mask with Yautja inscriptions was already imposing, his unmasked version is truly frightening. This is the version of the Predator in the last third of the film where he goes on a homicidal frenzy of xenomorphs and humans as sad collateral damage! > Si ya de por si el el Wolf Predator con su máscara con inscripciones Yautjas era imponente, su versión unmasked es verdaderamente atemorizante. This particular figure is the one that comes with the most accessories of all the Neca Predator figures that I have, it comes from Medcom, 2 Plasma caster, 2 Surikens, one closed and the other completely open, the retractable blades attached to the figure and the composite whip . It seems that Neca's people, understanding that the figure was more than anything posable, decided to incorporate several accessories to compensate for the lack of mobility. > Esta figura en particular es la que más accesorios trae de todas las figuras Neca de Predator que tengo, trae desde el Medcom, 2 Plasma caster, 2 Surikens una cerrada y la otra completamente abierta, las cuchillas retráctiles unidas a la figura y el látigo compuesto. Parece que los de Neca entendiendo que la figura era más que nada posable decidieron incorporarle varios accesorios para compensar la falta de movilidad.

In short, Neca was very successful with the design of these figures. The level of detail in this series is so well taken care of that it even matches the artistic level of other brands such as Hot Toys. Of the 2 figures, the one I definitely appreciate the most is Wolf Unmasked because it faithfully transmits its film version. Above I leave you a recreation of the most memorable scene from that 2007 film, where Wolf faces the "Abomination", a hybrid between Xenomorph and Yautja! > En definitiva Neca tuvo un gran acierto con el diseño de estas figuras el nivel de detalle de esta serie esta tan bien cuidado que incluso iguala el nivel artistico de otras marcas como Hot Toys. De las 2 figuras la que definitivamente más aprecio le tengo es al Wolf Unmasked porque transmite con fidelidad su versión cinematográfica, arriba te dejo una recreación de la escena más memorable de aquella pelicula del 2007, donde Wolf se enfrenta a la "Abominación" un híbrido entre Xenomorfo y Yautja!

The next installment of the franchise meant a period in which the 20th Century Fox studio had lost the creative formula of the franchise, the failure of the two Aliens vs Predator installments left the studio with little desire to continue creating Predators movies. It was in 2010 that Predators would arrive with a premise so simple that more than a continuation it seems like a spin off, a group of human beings are kidnapped and placed on a "reserve" planet where they will be systematically hunted by a group of Predators. > La siguiente entrega de la franquicia significo un periodo en el que 20th Century Fox había perdido la fórmula creativa de la franquicia, el fracaso de las 2 entregas de Aliens vs Predator dejaron al estudio con pocas ganas de continuar creando películas de Predators. Fue en el 2010 que llegaría Predators con una premisa tan simple que más que una continuación parece un spin off, un grupo de seres humanos son secuestrados y puestos en un planeta "reserva" donde serán sistemáticamente cazados por un grupo de Predators.

With the release of the movie, Neca got to work with the figures for this sequel and apparently the company had the same dilemma of creating a statue-type figure only to pose or making it partially mobile, their decision was the same as in the mixed AvP series but on this occasion they created the worst figures in their entire catalog with terrible mobility and materials of the worst possible quality. But I had no choice, this was my first Predator figure with which I started my collection. In my country it is really difficult to get these figures so when I saw it for the first time I didn't think twice and that's how the Falconer Predator became the first of many Yautjas in my collection. > Con el lanzamiento de la película Neca se puso manos a la obra con las figuras de esta secuela y al parecer la compañía tuvo el mismo dilema de crear una figura tipo estatua solo para posar o hacerla parcialmente móvil, su decisión fue al igual que en la serie AvP mixta pero en esta ocasión crearon las peores figuras de todo su catalogo con una movilidad terrible y unos materiales de la peor calidad posible. Pero no tuve más remedio este fue mi primera figura Predator con la que comencé mi colección. En mi país es realmente difícil conseguir estas figuras así que cuando la vi por primera vez no lo pensé dos veces y fue así como el Falconer Predator se convirtió en el primero de muchos Yautjas en mi colección.

# ⚙️ Accessories/Accesorios.

The Falconer Predator is a specialist in tracking all types of prey, its biomask allows it to see the traces left by its prey. In this figure his only accessory is the long single blade on his right forearm. In the film he does not use a plasma caster but carries a falcon-shaped drone that he uses to follow his victims. Strangely, in this figure, that characteristic accessory did not come with this figure, disappointing. > El Falconer Predator es un especialista en el rastreo de todo tipo de presas, su biomáscara le permite ver los rastros que dejan sus presas. En esta figura su único accesorio es la larga cuchilla única en su antebrazo derecho. En la película no usa plasma caster sino que lleva un dron con forma de halcón que utiliza para seguir a la sus victimas, extrañamente en esta figura ese accesorio tan característico no vino con esta figura, decepcionante.

As I mentioned before, the mobility of this figure is much more limited than in previous figures, the joints are so fragile that I am afraid of breaking the figure so it is best to leave it in a single fixed position. What is noteworthy is the great care they took in detailing the Falconer's biomask because in reality the mask acts as a virtual reality helmet where the Yautja can see all the information about the prey and the terrain that the Drone sends in 3 dimensions. > Como mencioné anteriormente, la movilidad de esta figura es mucho más limitada que en las figuras anteriores, las articulaciones son tan frágiles que temo romper la figura así que lo mejor es dejarla en una sola posición fija. Lo que si es de destacar es el gran cuidado que tuvieron en detallar la biomáscara del Falconer porque en realidad la máscara actúa como un casco de realidad virtual donde el Yautja puede ver toda la información de la presa y el terreno que envía el Dron en 3 dimensiones.

The next Yautja is the Berserker Predator, he is the leader of the clan that hunts the protagonists of the film. This was my second Predator figure in my collection and also my second disappointment for the same reasons as the Falconer: fragility of the materials that prevented the possibility of posing the figure, materials of the worst quality. But anyway, as the leader of the predators I had to have this figure, that's how I added it to my collection. > El siguiente Yautja es el Berserker Predator, es el líder del clan que da caza a los protagonistas de la película. Esta fue mi segunda figura Predator de mi colección y también mi segunda decepción por las mismas razones que el Falconer: fragilidad de los materiales que impedían la posibilidad de posar la figura, materiales de la peor calidad. Pero en fin, como lider de los predators debía tener esta figura así fue como la incorporé a mi colección.

The only accessories on this figure are the plasma caster that is attached to the figure and a short blade that can be removed from the forearm just like the Falconer's. Also notable in this figure is the detail of the helmet adorned with bones, which gave this predator a more sinister air and made it clear who was in command. As a curiosity about the size, type of weapons and biomasks of these predators, it was established that these Predators, rather than being bad blood, that is, murderers of other Yautjas, these Predators were rather a subspecies that they called Super Predators with a strength and endurance much greater than that of a normal Yautja. > Los únicos accesorios de esta figura es el plasma caster que esta unido a la figura y una corta cuchilla que puede removerse del antebrazo igual que el del Falconer. Destaca también en esta figura el detalle del casco adornado con huesos lo que le daba un aire más siniestro a este predator y te dejaba claro quien era el que estaba al mando. Como curiosidad por el tamaño, el tipo de armas y las biomáscaras de estos predators se estableció que estos Predators más que ser unos mala sangre, es decir asesinos de otros Yautjas, estos Predator eran más bien una subespecie a la que llamaron Super Predators con una fuerza y una resistencia mucho mayores a los de un Yautja normal.

As the last figure in my Predatros collection I once again return to Wolf, and it turns out that in 2014 the Bandai company released a run of this predator under its S. H. MonstersArts series. Unlike the Neca figures, the Bandai pieces are a little smaller, approximately 1/3 smaller, yet Bandai, in addition to taking the same care in the cinematographic fidelity of its figures, has a detail that greatly differentiates it from Neca, they take it to the extreme. the mobility of its figures. > Como última figura de mi colección de Predatros nuevamente regreso a Wolf, y es que resulta que en 2014 la compañía Bandai sacó a la venta una tirada de este predator bajo su serie S. And although it may not seem like it due to its size, this figure has more than twice as many joints as the Neca figures, reaching 34 points of articulation and if that doesn't seem like enough, these figures come accompanied by a huge amount of accessories ranging from various pairs of hands, weapons and objects that turn these figures into true works of minimalist art. But let's start by reviewing precisely the accessories that this figure comes with before seeing the piece in all its glory. > Y es que aunque no lo parezca por su tamaño esta figura tiene más del doble de articulaciones que las figuras neca llegando a ser 34 puntos de articulación y si eso te parece poco, estas figuras vienen acompañadas por una enorme cantidad de accesorios que van desde varios pares de manos, armas y objetos que convierten a estas figuras en verdaderas obras de arte minimalista. Pero empecemos revisando precisamente los accesorios que trae esta figura antes de ver la pieza en toda su gloria.

Starting with the body parts, this figure brings us an extra head of the Wolf Predator Unmasked + collar and in turn comes as separate pieces with 2 sets of jaws to place them open or closed. It also brings us 8 hands, of which 3 are left wearing a mitten with spikes and the remaining 5 are right, these hands come in different positions: completely open, partially closed and a fully closed fist. > Comenzando por las piezas corporales, esta figura nos trae una cabeza extra del Wolf Predator Unmasked + collarín y a su vez trae como piezas aparte 2 juegos de mandíbulas para colocarlas abiertas o cerradas. También nos trae 8 manos de las cuales 3 son izquierdas llevando una manopla con púas y las restantes 5 son derechas, estas manos vienen en distintas posiciones: completamente abierta parcialmente cerradas y un puño totalmente cerrado.

As medium and long distance weapons we have the retractable Lance or Combi stick which we have completely retracted or fully extended. As a long-range weapon we have the compound whip, which in the film is exclusively used to kill xenomorphs at a safe distance since this weapon does not deteriorate due to the action of acid. We have it in 2 versions: rolled up to wear it on the waist and completely extended. > Como armas de media y larga distancia tenemos la Lanza retráctil o Combi stick la cual tenemos completamente retraida o totalmente extendida. Como arma de largo alcance tenemos el látigo compuesto que en la película esta arma es exclusivamente para acabar a una distancia segura con los xenomorfos ya que esta arma no se deteriora por la acción del ácido. La tenemos en sus 2 versiones: enrollada para llevarlo en la cintura y completamente extendida.

The last accessories that this figure comes with are the Plasma caster, the Medcom and organic matter solvent liquid with its trigger. The only detail that was missing was bringing the shurikens but it is a minor detail compared to the Neca figures. > Los últimos accesorios que trae esta figura es el Plasma caster, el Medcom y líquido disolvente de materia orgánica con su disparador. El único detalle que le faltó fue traer las shurikens pero es un detalle menor comparado con las figuras de Neca.

Here we can see what the figure looks like with its 2 heads and only equipped with the retractable claws that are also removable. Here we see Wolf Predator in his final form and his various accessories. In a back view we can see all his equipment from behind and from the front his plasma caster and the whip wrapped around his waist. And as the last pose we have Wolf with the whip extended, in conclusion this figure wins many points from mobility, accessories and painting, the wide variety of positions it can adopt is incredible. My favorite version of this figure is with the mask because of the great detail in the sculpting and painting, the unmasked version does not seem as expressive to me as the Neca figure. >Aquí vemos a Wolf Predator en su forma final y sus distintos accesorios. En una vista de espalda podemos ver todo su equipamiento de espaldas y de frente su plasma caster y el látigo enrollado a la cintura. > >Y como última pose tenemos a Wolf con el látigo extendido, en conclusión esta figura gana muchos puntos desde la movilidad, accesorios y pintado, es increíble la gran variedad de posiciones que puede adoptar. Mi versión favorita de esta figura es con la máscara por el gran detalle que tiene el esculpido y pintado, su versión unmasked no me parece tan expresiva como en la figura Neca.
