Revelación. Mi collage para Let's Make a Collage Contest. Round 153

Algo está por ocurrir. Hay un llamado. Todos ellos, en la inocencia natural que les ha sido dada, esperan con curiosidad, atraídos por la luz. Imagino que hay humedad, frío, y una pequeña vibración que llena el espacio. El silencio se llena de suavidad, esponjado. Las gallinas pían, bajito, y un par de pájaros sacuden las plumas.
El camello se ha acercado a la luz. Le recuerda el sol del desierto, aunque conoce bien el brillo de las nieves invernales. Un ocelote se agazapa, desconfiado, y se entiende, pues ha venido de muy lejos. Otro tanto hace el gato, pero solo porque es un gato.
El gran buey espera con la paciencia infinita del lomo, de las generaciones que han harado con el yugo. No busca más allá. Espera. Pero la inteligencia despierta del burro escudriña,con sonreída ironía, y algo intuye desde sus ojos profundos.

¿A dónde lleva la luz? ¿Adónde el fulgor que brota como una flor de la tierra? En su haz hay estrellas. Todas las estrellas de la noche. Su rumor de cuentas de cristal, de lágrimas de hielo, de ramas mecidas por el viento, susurra: "Ha nacido la gracia. Ha nacido la belleza y la suavidad y la música. Ha nacido la luz, la alegría y la paz".

Something is about to happen. There is a call. All of them, in the natural innocence they have been given, wait with curiosity, attracted by the light. I imagine there is dampness, cold, and a small vibration filling the space. The silence is filled with softness, fluffy. Chickens chirp, low, and a couple of birds ruffle feathers.
The camel has approached the light. It reminds him of the desert sun, though he knows well the brightness of winter snows. An ocelot crouches, distrustful, and it is understood, for it has come from far away. So does the cat, but only because it is a cat.
The great ox waits with the infinite patience of the back, of the generations that have been yoked. It looks no further. It waits. But the awakened intelligence of the donkey scrutinizes, with smiling irony, and intuits something from its deep eyes.

Where does the light lead? Where does the radiance that springs like a flower from the earth? In its beam there are stars. All the stars of the night. Its murmur of crystal beads, of ice tears, of branches swaying in the wind, whispers: "Grace is born. Beauty and softness and music are born. Light and joy and peace are born."
