I am honored, this November 20th, to participate in a global gala celebrating the Charter for Compassion — founded by interfaith advocate and a personal hero, Karen Armstrong 🙏🏽✨
This event will recognize some extraordinary people whose lives signify compassionate action.
This includes people at the grassroots level, those working in the fields of health and scientific research, musicians who recognize their call to preserve cultural roots and social justice advocates spurred on by victories that result in equity.

They are a network of networks, connecting organizers and leaders from around the world, providing educational resources, organizing tools, and avenues for communication; sharing lessons, stories, and inspiration; providing the umbrella of the Charter for Compassion for conferences, events, collaborations, conversations and initiatives to create compassionate communities and institutions.
Currently there are more than 440 compassionate communities around the world, in 54 countries, and with more than 2,200 organizational partners. This represents approximately 6.5 million people around the world who are connected to the Charter for Compassion!
