What do they do in their daily life

Dear Hiveans!

Do you know what a large group of black ants do in their colony in a colony?

At first I didn't understand it either because I wasn't one of those insect experts who always observed insect life. However, as a social being, there is nothing wrong with trying to observe the appearance of black ants in their nests, what they do and how their activities are, so that many experts raise their lives in cyberspace or in any media.

To find out about her daily activities, I read one of the 7th grade biology books which tells in detail about her life. Among the many stories, I am interested in a number of things about them and I put them up on this platform.

Then what are the options? Here's the explanation

In the biology book entitled "insect species of 1999", there is an amazing explanation for its life that ants have two main functions for their workers, namely:

  1. Always working on creating nesting booths
  2. Look for something to eat
  3. Move eggs.

These three activities are always carried out by every ant who is destined to become a worker ant, so when we read the article, we remember one of the INK animated films which tells about the life and adventures of several ants.

1. Worker ants always build and repair colony nests

You need to know that, the ants that are seen on the ground or on the surface of the plant are female worker ants, meaning that what we see everyday on the ground is female worker ants.

So this life is very different from our human life, the difference is the main obligation for females to always work and are required to be workers in the colony even though there are male ants in the ants, but very few.

Every female ant who is destined to be a worker is always active and never stops from decorating her dwelling which has several levels with various shapes, but unfortunately I can't see the architect of her work because it can't be photographed, this is due to a lack of tools in detecting it. His astonishing work is vast in different forms in order to achieve the goal ordered by the queen or the ant who is the building instructor.

Perhaps a more detailed explanation has been described in this great platform, by colleagues who are already experienced in writing.

2. Actively looking for food for the colony

Ants are one essence of billions of species of creatures that inhabit this earth, of course they need nutrients to live like other animals. However, the search mechanism is different and varies from species to species.

In general, ants will look for something that contains a sweet taste, for them they do not choose the type of food whether sugar, cake, even other animals such as cockroaches or other types of insects are hunted simultaneously and when the prey dies, they will tear the body parts of the carcass into small pieces. the insect's body which is part of the prey to be carried by the nest as food provisions for the colony.

Each individual ant is a hard worker for the colony in the welfare of every member of the ant.

3. Move eggs

Then the routine of ants that is often seen in addition to lifting and transporting food into the nest for offerings to the colony, ants are also often seen moving the eggs produced by their queens to other areas or new nests if the nest is deemed unsuitable to be occupied or as a safe place to live, or there is something in the nest, due to the influence of nature itself. So it is said that the ants will come out of the nest if something happens that can damage the nest and its own soul. This means that they are able to detect natural disasters such as:

  1. Earthquake
  2. Flood
  3. Landslide
  4. and other disasters that can damage the nest.

And there are many other activities that make the ants always look busy in their daily lives.

That's it and thank you very much
