When the quarantine period ends, I will return to adventure together with my friends. We used to go on trips to remote areas where there are many beautiful islands and scenery.
This island is part of the Greater Aceh District and offers a pure atmosphere and comfortable feel for tourists. Batee in the local language means Stone. The name is inspired by historic and beautiful tombstones made by famous local artists during the era of ancient kingdoms. This stone also revealed that the island belonged to a certain person at that time.
However, nowadays, it has become a good destination to enjoy a peaceful vacation either alone or with family. The location is the easternmost island in Sumatra and located on the Nasi and Bunta Islands in Aceh.
There are no locals in sight on Batee Island and that means nobody lives there. Not surprisingly, the nuances are quite calm and the nature is still natural. In terms of size, this island has an area of around 70-100 hectares.
According to the Acehnese people, the island belongs to Teuku Teungoh Meuraxa but he inherited it to the local population to become one of the attractions of the Aceh Province. Featuring beautiful beaches and lush trees, this island is sure to be the right choice for those who want to spend an extended vacation.
