Hive open mic community is much more impressing me with more hivers musician takes part every week. Since my first joining's week, that was on the week 2, until the week 8, It's such a great experience to share the music either from Indonesian artists or introduced my original song on this platform. By the week's coming, explore the theme given with suitable song is very exciting for me. Infinity, the theme that was given by my brother @cabelindsay has already squeezed my head to find the song match with it. Well, I believe all of us has different understanding about what is "INFINITY"?. Fortunately we all free to explore the theme through our chosen song without need to be worried right or wrong. It's all about our sense of those word and the rest is just get into the music. Let the linguists debates on it. We keep our own way by pouring it into music's expression.
Komunitas open mic sekarang jauh lebih mengesankan dengan lebih banyak musisi hivers mengambil bagian setiap minggu. Sejak minggu pertama aku bergabung, yaitu pada minggu ke 2, sampai minggu ke 8, pengalaman yang luar biasa untuk berbagi musik baik dari artis Indonesia atau memperkenalkan laguku di platform ini. Menjelang minggu ini, mengeksplorasi tema yang diberikan dengan lagu yang cocok sangat menarik bagiku. Infinity, tema yang diberikan oleh braderku @cabelindsay telah memeras kepalaku untuk menemukan lagu yang cocok dengannya. Yah, saya percaya kita semua memiliki pemahaman yang berbeda tentang apa itu "INFINITY" ?. Untungnya kita semua bebas mengeksplorasi tema melalui lagu pilihan kita tanpa perlu khawatir benar atau salah. Ini semua tentang perasaan kita terhadap kata itu dan sisanya hanya masuk ke dalam musik. Biarkan ahli bahasa berdebat tentang hal itu. Kita tetap mempertahankan cara kita sendiri dengan menuangkannya ke dalam ekspresi musik.
After some days contemplation, the legendary song from The Beatles, Imagine, is the chosen song I bring you this time. I don't know many western songs. As a boy from small village that extremely late to upgrade my music library, I used to had no chance to listen to the western music, "Imagine" has already closed to my ear since I was a kid. Probably, that was due to the song was often played on TV. But, its depth and touchy lyrics was attracted me although people in my country debate about some controvertial lyrics. I was lucky my dad was bloody great in English. So I'd known the meaning of the song long time ago. Once again, we all free to filter good or bad for us. Let's Rock, Man!
Setelah beberapa hari perenungan, lagu legendaris dari The Beatles, Imagine, adalah lagu pilihan yang aku bawakan kali ini. Aku tidak tahu banyak lagu barat. Sebagai anak laki-laki dari desa kecil yang sangat terlambat untuk memutakhirkan perpustakaan musik, aku dulu tidak punya kesempatan untuk mendengarkan musik barat, "Imagine" sudah dekat di telingaku sejak masih kecil. Mungkin, itu karena lagunya sering diputar di TV. Tapi, liriknya yang dalam dan menyentuh itu menarik perhatianku, walaupun orang-orang banyak berdebat tentang beberapa lirik kontroversial. Aku beruntung ayahku hebat dalam berbahasa Inggris. Jadi aku sudah tahu arti lagu itu sejak lama. Sekali lagi, kita semua bebas memfilter baik atau buruk untuk kita. Ayo nge-Rock, Bung!
