The ride from Manali to Lahul Valley is extremely scenic but due to heavy traffic you have to ride very carefully. The peaks blessed with spectacular and scenic ambiance creates a unique charm that remains stored in the minds of the riders forever.
About Manali
Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It is very famous as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
About Lahul
The Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh consists of the two formerly separate districts of Lahaul and Spiti. The present administrative centre is Kyelang in Lahaul. Before the two districts were merged, Kardang was the capital of Lahaul, and Dhankar the capital of Spiti.
