Continúo relatando mi recorrido por la Ruta 40. Hace cinco años hice esta travesía. Y hoy se las cuento.
La reseña de todas las etapas anteriores las encuentran al pie de este artículo. Desde mi partida hasta le llegada a Cachi, punto de arriva de la quinta etapa.
Miro un cartel y veo que estoy en jurisdicción de la provincia de Catamarca
Salgo de Belén a la mañana temprano. Manejo solo medio dia y llego a Sañogasta cerca de Chilecito. Me indican un lugar para acampar y hacia alli me dirijo. En la oficina de Turismo consigo el permiso y paso la noche en un lugar muy lindo y tranquilo.

I look at a poster and see that I am in the jurisdiction of the province of Catamarca.
I leave Bethlehem early in the morning. I only drive half a day and arrive in Sañogasta near Chilecito. They show me a place to camp and I'm heading there. At the Tourist Office I get the permit and spend the night in a very nice and quiet place
La construcción más significativa del pueblo, es la Iglesia de San Sebastián erigida en 1764, es de líneas sencillas con muros de adobe y cubierta de piedra.
El diaía Aniversario del pueblo de Sañogasta es el 26 de agosto de 1640 fecha presunta de su fundación.
The most significant construction of the town, is the Church of San Sebastián erected in 1764, it has simple lines with adobe walls and a stone roof.
The anniversary day of the town of Sañogasta is August 26, 1640, the presumed date of its foundation.
Aprovecho para descansar porque la próxima etapa va a ser más dura.
Comienza el paisaje donde las rocas adquieren un color rojo parecido al de la tierra misionera.
Camino un poco para estirar las piernas y saco algunas fotografías.
I take the opportunity to rest because the next stage will be harder.
The landscape begins where the rocks acquire a red color similar to that of the missionary land.
I walk a bit to stretch my legs and take some pictures.
