There it was, hiding in a pile of rocks....

One of the amazing things about working on the homestead is the amount of wild creatures we encounter. While doing some repairs with our water supply, we had a number of rocks to move. With the help of my two oldest sons, we went about moving them, and then the children saw it, a Five-Lined Skink. We enjoyed it for a minute and then released it, and were blessed to have seen it while we were working. Check out this stunning creature, and enjoy the photos!
