20-10-20 Massacre. Nigerian Youths Mourn Today.

End SARS was all we asked for rather the lives of our dear ones were taken and more of our rights withdrawn.

They banned twitter to constrict communication. They tried to ban crypto to make sure the movement suffer from funding, they still owe police officers' salaries and most of all they never really ended SARS they merely rebranded!

These authorised criminals steal from youths, they harass, they extort, they kill!

Personally, I have a lot of instances but this one was very painful for me because they ruined our moments.

My current husband decided to go on a road trip. We were dating as at the moment and he had just got his first car. We were celebrating but these uniformed men that hate to see youths progress stopped us at several points on the way to collect 'something'.

You'll have to be a child of a very rich and popular politician to escape them.

On this very day last year, the Nigerian youths bravely stood up against police brutality throughout the 36 states of the federation. Some states could not be represented physically because of the fear of what may be their fate but they did lend their voices online. Unfortunately, some youths that bravely came out to protest at the Lekki toll gate, Lagos state were massacred with no reason, explanation or justice served.

Blood is sacred and we light candles for our brave heroes today.
