Other Niche Communities Curation Report #173

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 173rd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

As Covid numbers continue to rise, Pattaya's "Move On" program moves forward

Is this the beginning of certain parts of the country that have been hit particularly bad by Covid refusing to do what the federal government orders them to? Despite the fact that Chonburi is considered a "dark red" area as far as Covid cases are concerned, the leaders of this province have stated that they are not pushing back their September 1st plan to reopen the area to tourism.

After a long break, a visit to a beautiful village full of paddy fields and tea plantations

How are you my dearest friends? I believe you are doing well in this difficult time. I realized that it was not possible to travel at this time when the corona epidemic was spreading so strongly. However, I have been in need of travel for quite some time now as there is no chance of any mental freedom without being in touch with nature. There is no need to do anything difficult like walking through a forest or climbing a mountain to connect with nature. Great mental freedom can also be gained by walking through a paddy field which is a beautiful object of nature.

My urban garden, pumpkin seed 🌱// Garden Journal Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share some tips for growing pumpkin in a small space. My house, although it is located on the outskirts of the city has no land available for planting, so I have been forced to improvise an urban garden.

In these times when we can not leave home and we need to have a supply of vegetables is very important to have knowledge about urban agriculture, that is, to grow vegetables in small spaces and with use of kitchen waste.

Dear You,

I heard you are struggling with your dreams right now and are confused about your path. To start my letter, if you are happy and this venture makes you excited and contented, your decisions are correct. On the other side, if you're doubtful and make you think you are not doing enough, it's a sign to change your plan and retain your goals.

Still Closed?

Of course, it's early in the morning but this is perfect where I could rest assured of capturing these establishments. You know me, I don't like people watching me taking pictures without permission. I'm afraid that they would think "what am I doing?" This is a #marketfriday post by @dswigle so expect this will be about stores that are related to the market. However, bear with it because I will give you information not to be bored by just viewing ordinary images.

Птах #50 : Горихвістка чорна (Bird #50 : Black redstart )

This event took place on July 7, 2021. It all started when I heard a bird cry. So loud and constant, they usually shout like that when there is danger nearby. Mostly I was this danger all the time. And the birds, shouting this sound, flew away. But this time was not the cause of this noise. After all, I was in the house. So I had to leave everything and go and see what was happening there. In the neighbor's barn, under the roof there is a kind of small balcony, where our cat slept peacefully without trading anyone (the photo was not taken, the bird distracted my attention). Just a few meters from her, a bird jumped here and there and shouted. The cat did not pay any attention to him at all. At that time, I did not know the reason for this behavior of the bird, because for all the time that they live next door, I have never heard from them such a reaction. So I decided that maybe somewhere in that place is a bird's nest and so he wants to lure the cat away from him. So without thinking we called the cat and she quickly left the place of rest, but it did not calm the bird, he still continued to chase her and make noise, the main thing that the cat was in his field of vision.

Rebalancing Life | Good things are coming

I wrote it before, and will probably write it more often, I'm currently trying to find a new balance in my life again which will most likely take a few more days. After our little lady has spent her time at home for a few weeks (poor her), her cough has now vanished and she can go back to kindergarten on Monday. Just for a week though as we have planned a short trip after this.

Today, My daughters, My wife and I worked together to make a snack. It was sweet fried fermented cassava (tape). Cassava can be fermented into sweet food. Fermented cassava is edible in raw but I tried to fry the fermented cassava to make a different snack.

Afternoon Snack at Island Vue Oslob

A few days ago, we decided to get some afternoon snacks while in Oslob. My sister-in-law suggested we check out Island Vue. This is a little bit far from the house but we complied. This is a chill spot, the owner of the restaurant or cafe is also the owner of the tourist boats for Sumilon Island.

But before we headed there, we stopped by Gaisano Grand Oslob as I needed to buy some essentials at Watsons.
