El impacto del uso de la post verdad en los discursos y en la trasmisión en la política Norte Americana y en la vida cotidiana de las personas así como su impacto en las redes sociales, hizo que en el año 2016 el diccionario de la universidad de Oxford la designara como palabra del año. Más recientemente la revista de Asociación de Comunicación Política ACOMP la ha incluido en la lista de los 10 top conceptos más influyentes en la década 2010 al 2020.
¿Qué es la post verdad?
Esta fascinante concepción y manera de enfocar las informaciones y de narrar los hechos que acontecen en la sociedad está situada en una línea muy tenue entre la verdad y la mentira, además bordea y a veces se sumerge en la manipulación del inconsciente colectivo para logra el fin de crear una realidad que le favorezca el narrador o en este caso al líder que la utiliza.
Diversos investigadores se han dedicado a estudiar la filosofía de la post verdad y a definirla, entre ellos tenemos a la Dra. Estela Morales campos de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México en el año 2018 para ella la post verdad está referida a la utilización de una versión parcial a partir de una verdad previamente probada y divulgada, pero de la cual, en su nueva versión, sólo se utiliza una parte del dicho para presentar un nuevo hecho “aparentemente novedoso”.
Para el diccionario de Oxford: El adjetivo post-truth como “relativo a que denota circunstancias en las que los hechos objetivos Influyen menos en la formación de la opinión pública que los llamamientos a la emoción y a la creencia personal” Ralph Keyes (2004) señala que la post verdad propicia el camino de la manipulación de la información y, en consecuencia, se toman decisiones sobre bases endebles que quizá sólo favorecen a un sector de la sociedad o a un grupo específico
Trump y la post verdad
Si bien es cierto que Trump rompió con muchos paradigmas de lo que representa ser el jefe de estado de la nación con la democracia más vieja en el continente americano es recurrente que en la búsqueda de permanecer en el poder recurrió a diversas técnicas comunicacionales y a metodologías de presión de personas y grupos sociales que hacen palidecer a cualquier dictador latinoamericano.
La confusión que genera la post verdad y su reiteración puede tener efectos parecidos a la desinformación y a la difusión de mentiras, pues al final es posible producir relatos históricos de los países a conveniencia de los grupos de interés y de las élites gobernantes, pues, en realidad, ya no importa que sean verdaderos o no, en tanto permitan la movilización de la opinión pública de modo pragmático y a favor de quien se asume como portavoz de la post verdad.
Cantar fraude y decir que le robaron las elecciones y que no reconocerá al presidente Joe Biden fue el detonante o como el mismo dijo “la Señal”. Para Trump no importo el rechazo de más de 60 acciones legales en diferentes cortes judiciales incluyendo el máximo tribunal conformado por mayoría republicana. Su estrategia era movilizar las emociones en los votantes Blancos supremacistas y crear dudas sobre el sistema electoral Americano. Buscando un objetivo claro mantener su liderazgo en ese importante sector de la población de ese país.
La credibilidad de la presidencia de un país está en juego cuando quien la ocupa irresponsablemente dice cosas y formula declaraciones sin ningún tipo de sustentación ni apego a la verdad.
El incitar y permitir que hordas armadas de sus seguidores irrumpieran en el sagrado recito de las leyes como es el capitolio en una conducta de dejar hacer y dejar pasar, va a traer profundas consecuencias en la democracia Norte Americana que aún no somos capaces de observar.
Los políticos que aspiran ser los conductores de las nuevas generaciones deben desechar esta tendencia populista de hablarle a las masas de seguidores con lo que desean escuchar, y deben asumir decir la verdad, y reconocer sus errores y derrotas cuando estas ocurren.
