Hola mi querida comunidad de Hive, en está ocasión estoy muy emocionada por contribuir con la iniciativa que nos invita @theycallmedan para ayudar a el hiver @juaregui98, el cuál está pasando por está terrible enfermedad que afectando al mundo como es el covid-19. A pesar que no he tenido la oportunidad de socializar con él debido que soy nueva en la plataforma y como personal de salud se en parte lo que está pasando y hay que tener presente que JUNTOS SOMOS MÁS. Este virus afecta el sistema respiratorio comienza con síntomas leves como malestar general, dolor de cabeza, irritación de en garganta y tos seca. En casos más severos fiebre, dificultad respiratoria y con ella cianosis ( coloración azulada o Grisáceo de la piel, uñas y labios).

Although I have not had the opportunity to socialize with him because I am new to the platform and as health personnel I know in part what is happening and we must keep in mind that TOGETHER WE ARE MORE. This virus affects the respiratory system and starts with mild symptoms such as general malaise, headache, throat irritation and dry cough. In more severe cases fever, respiratory distress and with it cyanosis (bluish or grayish coloration of the skin, nails and lips).

Soy Enfermera de un hospital centinela de mi país Venezuela, y ver a estos pacientes ( todos pediátricos) se ha convertido en mi día a día, siempre me tomo un minuto de mi guardia para concientizar a padres y familiares de estos niños con el uso correcto del cubrebocas, lavado de manos y antibacterial, también lo importante que es quedarse en casa y restringir salidas y visitas a nuestros hogares para protegernos, porque si nos cuidamos, cuidamos a otros y ayudamos a combatir la proliferación del virus.

I am a nurse in a sentinel hospital in my country Venezuela, and seeing these patients (all pediatric) has become my daily routine, I always take a minute of my shift to make parents and relatives of these children aware of the correct use of masks, hand washing and antibacterial, also how important it is to stay at home and restrict trips and visits to our homes to protect ourselves, because if we take care of ourselves, we take care of others and help to combat the proliferation of the virus.

Ahora bien, el uso del cubrebocas es nuestra arma más confiable para combatir al covid-19, pero la pregunta es ¿Lo estamos haciendo bien? ¿Tenemos el cubrebocas adecuado? En esta publicación les hablaré de ello.
Desde que el virus llegó a nuestras vidas solo conocíamos un solo tipo de cubrebocas, pero ahora tenemos más variedad que hace un año pero ¿Nos proteje del virus? Aquí les daré la información la cuál fue dada en un taller por epidemiología del hospital donde trabajo.
