To the east of Venezuela is the beautiful city of Puerto La Cruz, and a couple of years ago I had the opportunity to go, for a very short time, for work reasons. Like all cities that are surrounded by love, it is a welcoming place where you can breathe the peace that nature gives us.
Evidentemente por razones de agenda laboral el tiempo para disfrutar estaba completamente limitado, sin embargo yo no necesito grandes paseos para disfrutar el presente así que desde las instalaciones del hotel en el que nos hospedamos y en el que sería el evento que estábamos organizando me senté a apreciar el paisaje y permitirme respirar el Mar Caribe, y es que ese olor del salitre me transmite paz y ver la inmensidad del mar me hace sentir agradecida de la vida.
Obviously for reasons of work schedule the time to enjoy was completely limited, however I do not need long walks to enjoy the present so from the facilities of the hotel where we stayed and in what would be the event we were organizing I sat down to appreciate the landscape and allow myself to breathe the Caribbean Sea, and that smell of the saltpeter transmits peace to me and seeing the immensity of the sea makes me feel grateful for life.
Desde mi óptica, y creo que desde la de muchas personas, perderse con la mirada puesta en la línea en la que convergen el cielo y el mar es conectarse con Dios y con la naturaleza, es como un momento de transformación espiritual que yo agradezco profundamente por poder disfrutar con todos mis sentidos.
From my point of view, and I believe that from that of many people, getting lost with your gaze set on the line where the sky and the sea converge is to connect with God and with nature, it is like a moment of spiritual transformation that I deeply appreciate for being able to enjoy with all my senses.
Ciertamente había circunstancias no tan perfectas alrededor, como por ejemplo el descuido que envolvía aquel majestuoso hotel que en algún momento perteneció a la cadena Hilton, sin embargo yo no me dejé atrapar por la adversidad sino que me entregué a la grandeza y la buena vibra de estar allí.
Certainly there were not so perfect circumstances around, such as the carelessness that enveloped that majestic hotel that once belonged to the Hilton chain, however I did not get caught by adversity but rather surrendered to the greatness and good vibes of to be there.
Venezuela es hermosa pero vivirla y respirarla con la plena conciencia del valorar de cada espacio de esta tierra de gracia la hace única. Y no es nacionalismo, es gratitud porque definitivamente somos una tierra bendita en medio del Caribe, al norte del sur del continente americano.
Venezuela is beautiful but living it and breathing it with the full awareness of valuing each space of this land of grace makes it unique. And it is not nationalism, it is gratitude because we are definitely a blessed land in the middle of the Caribbean, north of the south of the American continent.
